Nine and feeling fine! As we close the chapter on our 9th year, we have nothing but gratitude for all that led us here. While the road here had its share of twists and turns, our team of dedicated and highly-skilled administrators to our supportive clients brought us to where we are today. Here's to double digits as we embark on on year 10! #canadianvirtualassistant #virtualassistant

Tuesdays are for SMME's or Host Employers in our corner & we want to bring you behind the scenes this week. We have a weekly stand up as a team!! As a standing item we each choose a value to guide our week. We do not believe that values must remain on paper and by incorporating them into our daily, they guide the work we do. Most of us fail because we do not espouse our values to do business. These weekly stand-ups keep the team aligned, accountable, and focused on achieving our goals. By sharing quick updates & addressing roadblocks early, we stay productive and on track every week. What is that you and your team do that we can all learn from? Drop your comment below. If you do not have yet, we hope you and your team will adopt our approach. Keep values alive to create cohesion! Growing businesses... #Companyvalues. #Teamwork. #StandUpMeetings. #Companyhabits.

There are few things that brings commonality to any team…I believe values does a fantastic job in this. We don’t have to agree on everything but if we adopt the same values, we have won half the war in our attempt to service our clients! Over the past few weeks of trying to merge HER VOICE INTERNATIONAL & Atamelang Training Academy..the guiding pillar has been our values! I don’t want abstract words like honesty.. I believe values should be doing words. Action words. Verbs! What are your values and how do you ensure they find expression in your daily activities. I am so serious about this that if I know our values are misaligned, I have to remove myself from your company. They’re my guiding campass. 🌸🌸

These days are so important to bring us back together, review where we have been and reset for the next quarter. More importantly there is time for us to reconnect as a team and remember why we do what we do. #magusfamily #teamwork #feelingconnected
It's January, and time for the Magus 'All Team Quarterly Meeting'. Our Chairman, Michael Aitken kicked us off by really bringing to life our vision 'to make an impactful difference to people's lives' by sharing some inspiring stories about where we have helped clients and those people thinking about becoming Magus Wealth clients. It's so lovely for everyone to be able to hear about where we have really helped people make some life changing decisions. As usual, we also celebrated our successes, shared stories, asked questions, and heard how we were doing as a business. Amanda Mayes chaired the day brilliantly and managed to keep us all on track! Dante Peters and Michael ran inspiring sessions in the afternoon – which allowed us all to share experiences, valuable learns and top tips, which was very enlightening! It was also lovely to hear from other people around the business, and as Michael rightfully acknowledged, it takes considerable courage to present in front of the entire team, so a special shout out to everyone who put themselves out there – well done. As a business that has people in different locations, for us, what really makes the day so special is the opportunity to connect with each other – there was great energy and a vibrant atmosphere around the room; plus, it was great to hear from a real variety of people across the team. As usual, there was lots of catching up and laughter, and we look forward to our next meeting in April.

We had an amazing time at our Q3 Quarterly Office Network Event last month! The energy and engagement were off the charts. Teams competed in fun challenges including brain teaser puzzles, spaghetti and marshmallow tower building, and an industry-themed crossword. It was fantastic watching everyone dive into the activities, aiming to build the tallest tower, solve the trickiest puzzles, and complete the crosswords. This event was a wonderful way for everyone to have fun and bond.
