Here’s what happened: WestJet, a Canadian airline, surprised unsuspecting passengers during the holiday season. Before boarding, travelers were asked what they wanted for Christmas by a virtual Santa Claus. While they were in the air, WestJet employees rushed to buy, wrap, and deliver those gifts. By the time passengers arrived at their destination, their dream presents—everything from TVs to warm socks—were waiting for them at baggage claim! Why it stood out: Emotional storytelling: The campaign wasn’t just about WestJet; it was about spreading joy during the holidays. Authenticity: It felt real, unforced, and deeply human, leaving viewers with a sense of wonder. Shareable content: The heartwarming video documenting the event quickly went viral, amassing millions of views. Customer experience focus: It showcased WestJet’s commitment to its customers, strengthening brand loyalty in an industry often criticized for the lack of it. The results?
