There will be a huge amount on LinkedIn (and elsewhere) already, and over the coming days, regarding the situation on Friday that saw Heathrow, the UK's busiest airport and one of the busiest international aviation hubs in the world shutdown temporarily. Personally, I would like to give the biggest shout out to the Heathrow Airport community, Team Heathrow. How everyone works together in unprecedented situations to support customers, and each other, with an aim to get things back on track as quickly as possible is quite astonishingly brilliant! On that note, I want to give heartfelt thanks to our team of Heathrow Helpers, frontline staff and those behind the scenes making additional support requests happen in these moments. I know only too well how challenging these last few days will have been, dealing with upset and frustrated customers, working long hours, staying positive and smiley and with many of the team fasting due to the Holy Month of Ramadan. I want to celebrate you and your dedication to delivering the very best passenger experience possible. My thanks and praise extend, of course, to all of Team Heathrow, who have all been applying that same brilliant care and attention to service recovery. Our fellow service partners, airlines, ground handlers, transportation teams, security, UK Border Force ... you name it, everyone who has been giving it their all to bring normality back as soon as possible. I have many first hand experiences of working in partnership with the amazing Teams at Heathrow, from being a frontline operative myself in the post 9/11 era helping customers who were stuck in lengthy security queues, through to leading customer service teams during ash-clouds, liquid bans, global pandemics and of course most recently, and unexpectedly, the power station fire on Friday. There is nothing quite like being in the thick of a crisis, knowing that you have the capability to spread some positivity and help in the very best way you can. Well done to everyone who has been involved in this Herculean effort of service recovery, you will probably never know how your calm composure, empathy, clear advice, guidance and reassurance will have supported so many over these days. I saw Fly-related domain names in Los Angeles and San Francisco Airports. Fly.Ai is a very good domain name. Is anyone willing to cooperate to create a good project? I gave my first English speech in Silicon Valley. Thank you to all my friends who supported and encouraged me! As long as you are brave, everything is possible! I was lucky enough to buy NVIDIA's latest product 5090 at GTC and gave it to a good friend in Silicon Valley! I will come to the San Francisco Bay Area again soon.
