Ausflug nach Annecy ☀ Unsere Geschäftsführerinnen sind in Frankreich und senden ganz viele Grüße! Gestern fand die German Reception von GERMAN FILMS , Animation Germany, AG Kurzfilm - Bundesverband Deutscher Kurzfilm, AG Animationsfilm , Animation Media Creators Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), Animation Production Days (APDs), FMX - Film & Media Exchange, Animationsinstitut der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH, Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM), MFG Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg mbH und ITFS statt. Networking stand auch im Vordergrund beim ASIFA Meeting und einem Workshop zu Women in European Animation.

The Heroes - Breakdown! Channelling the deep history of Marvel Entertainment comics, from 1980s Juggernaut, to the contemporary watercolour cover-art look for Daredevil, we had to create a host of new tools and tricks to achieve the varied styles of the characters and the comic book city. Working closely with Antoine at Partizan, this collaboration between The Coca-Cola Company and Marvel really breaks the mould. Here's a look behind the scenes showing some of the craft from the team here at Electric Theatre Collective: cutting-edge CGI characters blended seamlessly with traditional 2D animation artistry from Electric Studios, and an exquisite grade from Electric Colour. Enjoy.

I love my balls! :) Chrome balls play a crucial role in creating high dynamic range (HDRI) images in CGI as they help capture accurate information about the lighting environment. By photographing a series of images of a chrome ball in different lighting conditions, artists can create a high dynamic range map that contains detailed information about the intensity and direction of light in a scene. This allows the creation of virtual environments with extremely realistic lighting, where objects react naturally to light and shadows, resulting in more convincing and immersive images. #cgi #movie #cinema #lighting
