While that is a myth, it is NOT a myth that the holiday season is tough on those who are living with mental health issues. They will act happy at the parties and gatherings, all the while be hurting inside. Please reach out to them and not give a cursory glance to someone you suspect is acting out of character or putting on a show for happiness' sake. Men's mental health awareness month In this week's vlog I share things I did to get through some mental struggles Riding the waves of life; some currents and waves are rough, and some are calm and slow; being able to maintain some level of calmness through each is what I strive to do. Checking in on my boys that I don't speak with regularly, to see how they're doing Working out to keep my body moving, blood circulating, functional and fit. Meditating and journaling for mindfulness, gratitude and reflection. Golf for building mental toughness.
