The Transformative Impact Summit NYC was truly a game-changing experience! 🌟 As Elliott Bayev wisely said, "I don't want to be world champion, I want to champion the world." This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the spirit of this incredible gathering. Thank you, Elliot, for bringing such profound group together. Over three inspiring days, we celebrated, connected, and empowered changemakers from diverse backgrounds. The summit brought together a multitude of transformative thinkers, visionary leaders, investors, and policymakers, creating a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and collaboration. The insights shared by accomplished speakers and attendees were incredibly enlightening, fostering a collective expression of profound compassion for humanity and nature. It was heartening to be part of a community radiating empathy and a shared sense of responsibility for our world. As Lara Stein reminded us, "Understanding proceeds action." The summit provided an invaluable platform to comprehend the various ways people are working to impact the world positively. I had the privilege of meeting some truly amazing changemakers who are dedicated to making a difference. Shazia Yaqub, @Preeti, Marisa Zalabak, Mira Rubin, Joe Merullo, Gregory Flipo, Vriti Vankani, Ahmer Inam, Jenna Winocur, Taylor Kendal, Cecilia Pagkalinawan, @Eygpt Kamal, Andre Shearer, Sebastián Z. Shulman Let's embrace the idea that "If you do the right thing, good things should happen to you." It's time we apply this principle not just for ourselves, but for others and our world at large. The Transformative Impact Summit NYC has reignited my passion for creating positive change at TeeSquare. I'm leaving with new connections, fresh perspectives, and a renewed commitment to championing our world. Together, we can transform ideas into impactful actions! #TransformativeImpactSummit #Changemakers #SocialImpact #GlobalChange

🌱 Impact-first Marketer | I help social and climate innovators scale their impact through the power of regenerative marketing | Founder of The Marketing Palette | Steward of the Regenerative Marketing Movement
A few years back, a meaningful gift from a friend 👇🏼 and an inspiring course by the The Greater Good Science Center sparked a transformative practice that I really cherish: gratitude journaling. 🙏🏼 While I don't manage to stick to it every day, I try to come back to it as often as possible. Gratitude is not about mere positivity; it serves as a tool for resilience in challenging times, acknowledging the inherent goodness in our lives and providing a broader perspective. In the current state of the world, returning to this practice often feels challenging. Yet, I know it's precisely during such times that we need practices like gratitude, mindfulness and connection the most. As I wrap up this year's work, recognising that it hasn't been all smooth sailing, I want to express my gratitude for a few things that mean a lot to me in my professional journey: Working with amazing people like Daisy Rosales, Susana Maure Perez, Claudia Marras, Lia Mladenova, Minou Schillings, Somaye Dehban, Cristina Vulpe and many more on projects that instill hope and prove the potential for deep positive change is a real honour and a constant source of inspiration. This year, I was invited by Claudia Marras to take on the role of co-lead for CoPartnerUp, a community of impact-makers coming together to create conscious partnerships for lasting impact. 🧡 I also joined the Regenerative Marketing Committee initiated by Minou Schillings, the Zebra Growth team and Flora Rosenow to help transform marketing into a catalyst for well-being, healing and life-centeredness. 🌱 Rebranded The Marketing Palette with the amazing support and creativity of Cristina Vulpe — more on this coming soon! 😃 Had the opportunity to attend the Human Connector Academy hosted by Natalia Bialobrzewska and Barbara K. – an 8-week programme for developing individuals as skilled facilitators of meaningful human connections. 💛 Got the STAP budget for Momentum by Equals, Startupbootcamp, Workmode and the Unknown Group – a programme for women entrepreneurs looking to scale their business ideas. Can’t wait to start at the beginning of 2024! 🎉 All in all, I'm immensely thankful for the wonderful people in my life – personal and professional – and the amazing energy of the fluffy buddy in the pic below 😺 . Admittedly, things haven't always been easy. ➡ Running a consultancy business and challenging the status quo has its share of challenges and uncertainties. ➡ Setting healthier boundaries and harmonising work with self-care is an ongoing journey. ➡ Maintaining an active presence on social media can often be quite tiring. ➡ And tempering my perfectionistic tendencies is a continuous effort. Things to keep improving in the new year, alongside many more. 😅 Looking ahead to 2024, my hope is for more peace, humanity, care for all life, and a shared understanding that we’re all nature, we’re not separate from it. 🌿 Wishing everyone a warm holiday season! ✨

One Step Closer (OSC)'s Ripplefest revived and energized me! I'm grateful to have contributed to the regenerative thinking around the Advisors table at breakfast. What a dynamic group!! Here are some highlights from the day: ⚫ OSC co-founder Lara Jackle Dickinson kicked us off with her thoughts that we come together in kinship, with shared values and motivations for shaping a better world -- she encouraged us to banish the term "like-minded" from our vocabulary because it is the diversity of our minds, perspectives, and ideas that makes our community so rich. ⚫Opening panelist Carlotta Mast shared a great definition of "love" in the work context: "the deep and unwavering commitment to the flourishing of another human" (from the book Love + Work by Marcus Buckingham). We definitely need more of this in our workplaces! ⚫Panelist Kyle Koehler defined regeneration as "capacity building", and he encouraged company leaders to carefully consider what they are growing (revenue? impact? capability?), and why -- rather than blindly pursuing scaling their businesses without a clear "why". ⚫Session leader Lara Lee reminded us to avoid confirmation bias (gravitating to information we already agree with), and to become more discerning about which paradigm is sourcing our thinking and business practices. ⚫In the session on "greengushing" Julia Collins encouraged authentic storytelling backed by credible data. She compared two approaches to on-pack messaging for the same product -- first by Moonshot and then by Patagonia Provisions. Two compelling ways to inspire action among consumers! Such a rich day -- be sure to check out OSC's ongoing offerings to tap into many wonderful resources!
