Behind the scenes, MrBeast is a genius entrepreneur.
He’s rapidly scaling Feastables to rival snack industry titans like Hershey — in a single digit number of years.
How’s he doing this? By leveraging his personal brand.
And in this post, I break down his entire strategy.
Don't just think
↳ Start sharing your unique story
↳ Refine your content
↳ Connect with your audience
↳ Be patient for the results
Anthony Adamovich that's the essence of personal branding, beautifully demonstrated by MrBeast.
This is one of the first blogs I wrote, back when not many people visited FounderON.
So I thought I would share it again, as one of the most common questions I get asked is about how due diligence was.
I just re-read the blog myself and it brought back lots of memories, and to be honest made me a little bit exhausted.
Such as amazing process to be able to experience.
But also such a head f*ck.
That left me a bit broken (as you can see from the image below).
Check it out if you're thinking of an exit one day.
Spoiler alert - it's all worth it in the end.

For every successful entrepreneur, you can safely assume that they:
→ Have a series of failed products
→ Wasted a lot of time and money
→ Pushed content no one cared about
→ Worried about the path they took
→ Doubted themselves for a long time
Is this where you're at right now?
I can guarantee you that everyone you look up to was there too at some point.
I applied to be a speaker at Gary Vaynerchuk's conference VeeCon
This was one of the application questions:
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐞𝐞𝐂𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬?
I filed 4 domain names last year during VeeCon.
This year, 2 of those domain names are live supporting 2 different businesses in my ecosystem.
I am sharing as much as I can along my journey to leave the bread crumbs for the builders who come behind me.
When Gary says he's "in the dirt," I am right there with him, minus the content team and the money!
I run my businesses and I build and schedule all of my own content.
I still do a lot of things in my business that aren't in my wheelhouse because I have to.
I am a baby builder. 👶
But the early stage lessons are where it's at.
And it's where most people are.
I'm nobody special but I'm building something special.
Watch my beautiful garden grow. 🌼

Embodying the mantra "The show must go on" has been your lifeline as an entrepreneur, fueling an indomitable resilience and mental fortitude that keeps you and your business thriving. Embracing this mindset akin to donning blinders - blocking out negativity, self-doubt, and distractions - has proven vital. You understand yourself profoundly, recognizing how easily the deep pit of pessimism can engulf and impede progress.
Instead, you consciously focus your energy on driving the business forward and creating value for clients and team, powering through setbacks, celebrating wins, and persistently moving ahead. The inevitable failures, regrets, and painful lessons are acknowledged but not dwelled upon. There's no crying over spilled milk - you simply dust off, recalibrate, and keep the show in motion.
This intrinsic belief that the show must go on, whether fortune smiles or hurls challenges, is the quintessence of the entrepreneurial spirit. It's what separates the dreamers from the doers, the faint-hearted from the resolute. Embracing this powerful philosophy has undoubtedly been the wind in your sails, propelling you through five formidable years as an entrepreneur. Bravo on cultivating such a potent mindset!

Five years into being an entrepreneur, I’ve adopted a mindset that’s kept me and my business alive:
“The show must go on.”
Call it resilience.
Call it mental toughness.
Call it what you want.
But at its core, it’s an intrinsic belief that whether good or bad -
We lick our wounds,
We celebrate our wins,
We move forward.
I always imagine myself wearing horse blinders throughout the day, blocking out any negativity or self-doubt that may come my way.
And I do this because I know myself verrry well..
I know that as soon as I go down that deep pit of self-doubt and negativity,
It’s just going to get muddy, dark and gloomy. 🌪
And tbh, I know that I'll struggle to get out of there.
That’s why I focus on what I need to focus on, to drive the business forward and bring value to my clients and my team.
You WILL f*ck up.
You WILL have regrets.
You WILL learn painful lessons.
But, remember, there’s no time to cry over spilled milk.
Just get on with it,
Because the show must go on. 🫰🏼
