I got an email from a client company in response to my post yesterday. Stuff like this never gets old. 👇 As a recruiter, I know that I'm in a profession that feels icky to many. It's because of how most of them conduct themselves. But, I am not like most. I don't care about being the biggest company with the most clients, making the most placements. I DO care about: ❤️ Making great, long-term connections for both candidate and company. 📈 Helping awesome companies grow. 😁 Upgrading strong candidates from crappy situations. 🤝 Building relationships with companies who are great places to work, knowing that lower turnover = less placements with me each year. A company with low turnover is actually my ideal client because it shows they're doing something right! 😉 If you're building a business (whether you're self-employed OR building a book of business as a producer!), go with your gut and stick to your values. Some industries are more recession-proof than others but at times no matter what the industry, businesses are faced with having to downsize. These are often due to overspending, the implementation of technology, and over-hiring, just to name a few.
