Some context to my recent posts shamelessly selling art... So we finally launched our e-commerce site, to sell prints of work we've created over the last few decades. 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭? 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 I was told to get two spec ads done (that's another story), so when I came across BALTEUS, I knew I had to pitch myself to them. Luckily, they were very nice and also needed video content, which is where Gunpowder House always comes in very effectively. A spec ad is a "proof of concept" commercial for a brand. Usually it's made for portfolio purposes, or to pitch an idea for an ad to the respective company. We made the below spec for ZERO pounds. That's right, we all pitched our own time for personal reasons, and turned a 6 hour day into a 1 minute fashion film. Imagine if we had a budget. Not sure how the film has affected their sales, but their post on instagram is one of their most liked, their most commented, currently sitting at 10k views (top 3 most viewed).
