𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁? 👑 Hemophilia is a genetic disorder, and most patients with hemophilia are male. The disease is found worldwide with an incidence of approximately 1 in 5,000 newborn boys. Generally, the more severe the hemophilia, the earlier the disease manifests. Symptoms often appear when children start to stand and take their first steps. Falls often result in subcutaneous hemorrhages or bleeding from the lips and tongue. 🎁 The presentation of hemophilia is highly variable: abnormal bleeding, either spontaneous or post-surgical, can occur at any site on the body. However, muscles and joints are particularly prone to bleeding, to the extent that many patients mistakenly believe it to be a muscle or joint disease. --------- 🛎 Although clinical symptoms of bleeding and a family history may suggest hemophilia, definitive diagnosis relies on blood tests. 🌐 Currently, hemophilia cannot be completely cured, but with replacement therapy to supplement the deficient clotting factor, patients can lead healthy lives. ------------------ ⭐ 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐒 – 𝐀 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐂 𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐄 𝐏𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐄

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder that significantly impacts children, primarily affecting the respiratory and digestive systems. It is caused by mutations in the CFTR gene, leading to the production of thick, sticky mucus that can clog airways and trap bacteria, resulting in chronic lung infections, inflammation, and respiratory failure. In children, CF manifests as frequent lung infections, persistent coughing, and difficulty breathing. Digestive issues are also prevalent due to mucus blocking the release of digestive enzymes from the pancreas, causing malnutrition and poor growth. The burden of CF in children is substantial, encompassing both physical and emotional challenges. Regular, intensive treatments such as physiotherapy, inhaled medications, and enzyme supplements are necessary to manage symptoms and maintain health. Hospitalizations are common for managing exacerbations and complications. The condition also imposes a significant emotional and psychological toll on children and their families, requiring ongoing support. #RaiseAgainstAutism #PinnacleSaysItAll #PinnacleBloomsNetwork #1AutismTherapyCentresNetwork
