Our Chief Procurement Officer, Sandeep Raheja, participated in a panel discussion on "Building Sustainable and Resilient Value Chains" at the 19th Sustainability Summit, organized by the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development. Sandeep emphasized the crucial role of raising sustainability awareness across the entire supply chain and highlighted Apraava’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with partners in driving sustainability initiatives. He also stressed the need for stronger partnerships to build resilient supply chains capable of adapting to climate risks. In support of the Swachh Bharat Mission, we recently wrapped up a beach clean-up drive in Mumbai. Our employee volunteers and their family members joined forces to make a positive impact on the planet. We are excited to share that the procurement team at our Jhajjar Power Limited (JPL) plant has been named Joint Winner in the ‘Best Green Procurement Project of the Year’ category at the 3rd Procurement Strategy India Summit & Awards 2024 organised by Inventicon Business Intelligence Pvt. In line with its commitment to building a strong low-carbon portfolio, Apraava has secured its third green energy transmission project in Rajasthan through the government’s Tariff-based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process. The project involves the setting up of ~200 km of 400 kV and 765 kV transmission lines, along with a 765/400 kV, 4x1500 and 400/220 kV, 5x500 MVA pooling station.   The project aims not only to strengthen the power transmission infrastructure but also to create meaningful employment opportunities in the region.   Know more: https://lnkd.in/dhQZz98R #ApraavaEnergy #EnergyInAction #PowerTransmission #LowCarbon
