We are committed to leaving behind a safe and healthy world for future generations to live and thrive in. To close out #NationalSafetyMonth, Jane Anstey Williams, P.E., Senior Project Engineer, gave us some great words about what it truly means to work safely. "I work safely so that I can come home to my family at the end of the day. An injury doesn’t just affect your job, but it affects all aspects of your life. I was recently at my daughter’s daycare teaching young kids the importance of hard hats and safety vests at construction sites to hopefully encourage them now and later in life to think of safety first. It important for me as the Lead for Grow, Relationships, and Opportunities for Women (GROW) at APTIM, to show young girls, that they can GROW up to be engineers and work at construction sites too!" While National Safety Month occurs every June, #safety is a 24/7/365 commitment. To our teammates, our clients, and the communities where we live and work, thank you for always making safety a top priority.
