The Faculty of Engineering (FT) of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) held a Safety Drill for Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety (K3L) training at the Faculty of Engineering UNS. This activity is intended for students of the Faculty of Engineering (FT) class of 2020 and 2021 on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
This activity is intended for students of the Faculty of Engineering UNS class of 2020 and 2021 who have not received safety drill training during the COVID-19 pandemic and as one of the requirements for international accreditation of study programs at the Faculty of Engineering.
This Safety Drill training was initiated by the Vice Dean for Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics of FT UNS (Prof. Dr. Ir. Wahyudi Sutopo, S.T., M.Si.) and the K3L coordinator of FT UNS, Ir. Mujtahid Kaavessina, S.T., M.T, Ph.D. This training involved several K3L supporters, such as the Fire Department, Volunteer Corps (KSR UNS), and UNS Medical Center.
The training began with the provision of material, pre-test, and post-test offline and online. This training consisted of the practice of using the Light Fire Extinguisher (APAR), a simulation of the gathering point in front of Building II, a firefighting simulation, and a victim handling simulation.
The training implementation scenario was that when the fire alarm sounded, all students went to the gathering point in the courtyard of Building II to practice APAR. The second training took place on the second floor, and then the fire department carried out the extinguishing. There were fire victims, who were then handled by KSR UNS and the medical staff.
The training was closed with the distribution of prizes for participants who scored 100 on the test conducted before the training, followed by a photo session with all participants and teams involved.
I got a Very Good Predicate on the Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety (K3L) test, which means my score was > 80. After doing the test, I understand more about Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health (K3L) so that it increases my knowledge and insight related to Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health (K3L) and I will apply it to my activities related to Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health (K3L) in the future.
