It appears that Apple is proposing that a confined field of view (FOV) might be a preferable choice over full 360-degree VR, particularly in the realm of cinematic virtual reality. Reflecting on the introduction of surround sound, initially, people distributed sounds all around, only to realize later that this approach was counterproductive. Although the specifications allow for 360-degree viewing, the fundamental question arises: should individuals be encouraged to recline, unwind, and appreciate content, or constantly navigate within a 360-degree environment?
