It’s July and summer is in full swing! The weather is heating up, BBQ season is upon us, and kids are on summer vacation. But Oregon employers know that July 1 also brings a new minimum wage. This year, all rates are increasing by $.50, with the state’s minimum wage rising from $14.20/hour to $14.70/hour, Portland metro’s rate changing from $15.45/hour to $15.95/hour, and Nonurban counties’ rate is going from $13.20/hour to $13.70/hour. Archbright members are kept informed of rising minimum wage rates as soon as they are announced. Interested in learning about changing regulations when they are hot off the press?
