The good news is that one of the easiest ways to help is by donating food and essential items to those in need. Donate non-perishable food (canned goods, pasta, rice) to food banks or shelters or directly to people you come across who are in need. clothes and toiletries are always in demand — consider donating clothing and personal hygiene items. Ever wondered what truly sets DDS apart? Spoiler: we’re so much more than photocopiers. At DDS, every photocopier we sell or lease is a step toward making a real, tangible difference in our community! When your company partners with us, you’re not just streamlining your office and boosting your efficiency—you’re joining a mission to fight food insecurity. For every photocopier purchased or leased, we donate at least 50kg of pasta to SecondBite | FareShare, creating 400 hearty meals for families in need. That’s not just a number; it’s a lifeline for those who need it most. Through our Giving Program, DDS has donated over 100 tonnes of pasta with the help of Rinoldi to date, providing more than 800,000 meals—enough to fill the MCG eight times over! 🍝 Why pasta? Its long shelf life and versatility make it a practical, nourishing staple for families facing hunger. It’s more than just food; it’s hope and security, shared one meal at a time. This mission lies at the heart of our values and purpose, driven by our belief that no one in our community should face hunger. We’re working toward building a brighter and more compassionate future, and you too can contribute to this mission and make a lasting difference. Meet Wiz, our legendary mascot, who’s here to explain how our partnership fuels this incredible journey. See how you can be a part of something bigger than business. Together, we’re feeding families and fuelling change.

I shot this film a few days ago, and as with such events, it’s over before you know it. You have to move quickly to capture everything needed to stitch together a meaningful message. It's at times like these that I often take for granted the varied skills, experiences and sensibilities you can only pick up over time. Knowing that it was released, I pulled up YouTube excitedly this morning to watch it (there’s something about seeing your work out there in the open), and in the process I was fed two skippable ads. On watching them, it struck me how the democratization of creative tools—something as simple as a phone camera—while positive in theory, has contributed to a dystopian reality where we are surrounded by really bad content that, in this case, YouTube is being paid a lot of money to propagate. It reminds me of the time Comic Sans was seen in all the wrong places, because people suddenly had access to a power but lacked the responsibility or the sensibility to wield it. One argument is that it's now easy to stand out amidst the mediocre when you create something of quality. I often tell people starting out in the creative field, surround yourself with good reference material, not only does it subliminally affect your skills, it's the only internal barometer you can build over time to honestly critique your own work. My fear with inundating the market with sub standard communications and marketing is that it will eventually lead to a dumbing down effect on the market. That’s a scary prospect. What do you think?
