To truly understand a surface and its transformations, we have to consider it as a non-inert object but as something with a spatial and temporal history. Different combinations and configurations will model our experience, observation, and perception. An environment that evokes authentic and suggestive emotions is the result of the feelings it provokes. The visual projection onto physical objects such as architecture, seamlessly blends the physical-real level with the digital level. The artist transforms technology into metaphor, imbuing it with meaning through creative abilities, mediating between ideas and human beings. Architecture abandons its static and fixed nature to become dynamic and fluid. It breathes, pulses, opens to welcome and closes to protect. By integrating physical space with digital intangibility, it allows forms to be free. The boundaries of physical space expand: the environment is no longer just a backdrop; it becomes the artwork. Individual architectural elements disintegrate, becoming moving paintings enriched with spots of light and color. A continuous play of fragmentation and recomposition occasionally turns volatile and evanescent. It transforms the real world before the viewer’s eyes, allowing seemingly inanimate objects to come alive. This is not a distortion of reality but a middle ground between reality, memory, and dreams. ● #AntalessVisualDesign #Visualart #ItalianArtist #ProjectionMapping #saarland #immersiveexperience #germany #osthafen #saarbruecken #LightArt #Architecture #ContemporaryArt #VideoMapping #DigitalArt #digitalartist #ContemporaryArtist #PublicArt #ArtWork #immersiveart #ArtInstallation #ProjectionArt #ArtandCulture #GenerativeAi #InstallationArt #apollonfestival #kulturgutost #apollon #apollonfestival2024

Just 2 years ago, this agency quality proposal support would only be achieved by using products like 3D Studio Max and a Render Farm cluster of over 100 computers. Design Time: (approx 2 Weeks to build the file) Render TIme: (over 7 Days) Thats after you find a Brilliant Mind like Dan Frydman that could pull it off. Concept to Completion reduction in time and costs, approximately 80% this means more options for the customer all but guaranteeing one option will get you to the next step in the discussion. Excellent work Dan Frydman #AI #[prompts.ai]AlphaTeam

Musical Skyscrapers 🔊 Singapore ... What if kinetic architecture meant more than just small movements on facades? What if the buildings could reconfigure themselves. These videos started out as a way to look at mass timber buildings in Singapore. Then they started moving - without me asking Kling to do that. After a couple of attempts with negative prompting, it just kept doing it. Why not make a feature of it? It could be interesting... .... - Images here made in a mixture of Midjourney and Flux. - Exterior rotation videos made with Kling, directly in their editor. - Views from the building itself were made with Kling on the [prompts.ai] platform. - Sound, as ever, made on Udio and the whole stitched together with Canva. It's all a warm up for the Chromatic Journey video... #interiordesign #architecture #midjourney #aivideo #ai

DAY 2 After 10 extraordinary years as an associate of #RemKoolhaas /@OMA and founding an agency in 2014 called [#cba], then finally 10 structuring years for the agency, we are embarking on our third decade! Celebrating 10 years is a work of achievement and #memorabilia, a project aimed at taking stock of the years gone by and #reinventing ourselves. For the celebration, [cba] collaborated with Anne Sedel, an artist who works on materializing #memory. She explores memories that can be held in a hand, like a #telephone, and put in a pocket. This leads to ‘THE HERE&NOW’ #experience. In a world of acceleration, we propose an exhibition suggesting a step back. What is the relationship between the creative world of [cba] and Anne's compositions of handheld memories? A walk through our #laboratory at 15 Villa Seurat main office is guided by selected #images and motivated by questions about continuous dialogue between the two worlds. Each wall is a #canvas, where a constellation of projects that have underwent a loss of scale and of #architectural references gradually takes shape. It creates an #introspective documentary, combining #images of the studio process and the artist's attempts to exhaust moments. THE HERE & NOW experience, fragments of life in #images: #drawings, #models, and #collages are the doors of time that open onto the present moment. A fine start to the following of [cba]. #villaseurat #annesedel #clementblanchetarchitecture @evablanche @traumapolis #towalkoffcliffs #instant #temps #time #présent #instantané #instantaneous #transdiciplinarité #transdiciplinarity #instantpresent #hereandnow #clementblanchet #oeuvredarttotale #art #architecture #collaboration Clément Blanchet Clément Blanchet Architecture

The future of design is spatial. 🧠 So, a few years ago we developed a concept for our close friend for a 12-acre Exclusive Luxury Villa project. The site was simply breathtaking and was literally just hills. Every Villa would have hill and valley views extending as far as the eye could see. ⛰ To start with the analysis of the project and understand the topography, we first got a drone video and photos shot of the site and then we built a physical contour study model that let us wonderfully visualise the site and we could virtually see how to place the villas and create a natural stream through the entire site which could act as the epitome of the project. There was no Midjourney or LookX to help us then, but today I'm so glad we had that model in the studio! And you can see why in the video ;) With this, we can anticipate that soon we shall be able to iterate ideas for architectural design in real time, maybe with the client (not sure if that's a good thing though!). A tremendous amount of time will be saved at the concept level where interests can be aligned before ideas are developed into explicit concepts. 🦾 TL;DR An old contour model made in mill board + Nataraj erasers + stapler pins + AI = Mind Blown. I think I wanna call this one "Jugaad" 😉 What do you think?? ----- Video ©RBDSai Lab | Dharwad 2024 Contour Model at Red Brick Design Studio #aiinarchitecture #ai #sustainability #spatialdesign #digitalarchitecture #rbdsailab

The Popularity of Framing Spotlights in Museums As a museum enthusiast, I've noticed a fascinating trend that's been gaining popularity in exhibition design—framing spotlights. These strategic lighting fixtures have become a staple in many museums worldwide, and for good reason. 🔍 One of the primary reasons framing spotlights are widely used in museums is their ability to draw attention to specific artifacts or artworks. By highlighting particular pieces, curators can guide visitors' focus and enhance the overall viewing experience. This targeted illumination not only showcases the details of each item but also creates a sense of importance and significance. 💡 Moreover, framing spotlights are incredibly versatile. They can be adjusted in terms of brightness, angle, and color temperature, allowing curators to adapt the lighting to suit different exhibitions and themes. Whether it's a delicate painting that requires soft, warm lighting or a sculpture that benefits from dramatic shadows, framing spotlights can meet these varied lighting needs with precision. 🎨 Another factor contributing to their popularity is their aesthetic appeal. Modern framing spotlights are sleek, unobtrusive, and often blend seamlessly into the exhibition space. Unlike traditional bulky lighting fixtures, these spotlights complement the artworks without detracting from them, maintaining a harmonious visual environment. 🌱 Additionally, framing spotlights are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Many museums are prioritizing sustainability in their operations, and these lighting solutions align with those goals by consuming less power and producing minimal heat. This not only reduces the museum's carbon footprint but also helps preserve delicate artworks that may be sensitive to heat and light exposure. In conclusion, the widespread adoption of framing spotlights in museums reflects their effectiveness in enhancing visual storytelling, creating immersive experiences, and supporting sustainability efforts. As museums continue to evolve their exhibition techniques, these innovative lighting solutions are sure to remain a valuable asset in captivating and engaging audiences. #MuseumDesign #ExhibitionTech #LightingInnovation #ArtAppreciation #MuseumTrends #SustainableMuseums #VisualStorytelling #InnovativeDesign

✨ Reimagining Tradition: A Surreal Mughal Miniature Experience ✨ What happens when the timeless elegance of Islamic architecture meets the dreamlike allure of surrealism? This project explores this intersection, conceptualising a digital walkable art gallery inspired by Mughal miniature art and the evocative essence of liminal spaces. The 3D space I designed is more than a visual experience—it’s an imagined journey through history, culture, and creativity. I took Inspirations by the Rehal, the folding bookstand traditionally used to hold the Quran, I reinterpreted its form as the architectural backbone of this immersive gallery. Scaling this sacred object into a surreal, monumental structure pays homage to Islamic tradition while pushing the boundaries of spatial design. Drawing from the intricacies of Persian manuscripts, I converted their ornate details—delicate calligraphy, floral motifs, and geometric patterns—into 3D assets that adorn this virtual space. The result? A gallery that feels simultaneously ancient and otherworldly, where visitors (through immersive goggles in future iterations) can explore as though stepping into a living manuscript. The architecture fuses elements like intricate domes, arches, and iwans, bending and distorting them to reflect the surrealist theme. This approach draws parallels to the Mughal ethos of blending art and function, and to the surrealist movement, which challenges conventional realities to unlock deeper emotional truths. This project underscores my passion for combining heritage with innovation, translating tradition into immersive, futuristic experiences. While this is currently a conceptual visualization, I see immense potential in transforming it into a fully walkable, immersive gallery experience in future stages. As I continue to push the limits of design and storytelling, I remain inspired by how technology can reimagine art and culture for modern audiences. Watch the video and let me know your thoughts on blending the past with the future. 🌟 #3DDesign #Surrealism #MughalMiniatureArt #ImmersiveExperience #IslamicArchitecture #CulturalInnovation
