We interviewed a variety of women in our firm with some questions to gain unique perspectives about women’s voices in the construction industry. Women in Construction Week celebrates and promotes the role of women in the construction industry. NAWIC held the first WIC Week in 1998 and it has grown and expanded each year since.   This year's theme, 'Keys to the Future', celebrates the strength and knowledge of women and the vital role they play in shaping the future of the construction industry.   It is a time to highlight all the great initiatives and work of women within the industry. Likewise, it is a time that brings to the fore the opportunities that are available to women in construction. Women in Construction Week traces the history of women in construction, their challenges, and the ways they’ve been able to overcome them. It’s Women in Construction Week. Although we don’t officially work in the construction industry, we are fortunate enough to work on a variety of projects in the industry. This week is a time to highlight all the great initiatives and work of women within the industry. It’s also a time to shine a spotlight on all of the opportunities available to women in construction.
