Exciting breakthrough in immunology research! ✅Mount Sinai researchers have made a pivotal discovery in the study of Th17-related disorders. They found that TMP269, a potent class IIa histone deacetylases (HDAC) inhibitor, impacts the differentiation of Th17 cells in a mouse model of ulcerative colitis. ✅This finding highlights the potential of pharmacological inhibition of class IIa HDACs as a promising therapeutic strategy for addressing Th17-related inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. ✅Interleukin (IL-17), a highly inflammatory cytokine produced by Th-17 cells, is implicated in various disorders such as Inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. This research opens up new possibilities in the treatment of these conditions. Below is the link to the published paper. 👇🏾 https://lnkd.in/dC3VTc5G #Research #Immunology #HealthcareDiscovery
