The momentum to cut down material usage is gaining traction, especially with European can makers and aluminum can sheet suppliers aiming for a bold target: achieving 100% recycling by 2030. This shared goal shows the powerful teamwork driving the beverage can towards a secure and sustainable future within a circular economy. 📈 New data on container glass collection for recycling in Europe is now available! The EU’s glass value chain sustains a steady 80.2% glass packaging collection rate with record volume of collected glass 💪 💬 “More glass packaging was collected in 2022 than ever before, reaching a record level of 12.4 million tonnes, representing an increase of about 542 000 tonnes over the previous year.
