The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model isn't "broken" or "flawed." The real issue lies in the neglect of a simple yet powerful word: "NO." As an EPC, it's imperative to regulate the deals being submitted to you. Training your sales organizations to adhere to your guidelines, policies, and standards is essential, but it's only 20% of the work unless you ensure compliance. Project managers must closely monitor progress, handle delays, and formalize any time-related changes. IV. Quality Management (including Testing and Defects): Ensuring work meets required standards involves thorough testing and defect management.
