Enough mystery and quiet iterations. .........What's he building in there? Well, I'm building a service that helps larger recruiting firms, and talent platforms find new clients, and place their candidates more quickly. How? 1. Tell me what kind of target clients you want to reach out to. 2. Tell me what candidates you want to place (yes, even the thousands in your candidate database). 3. I will tell you which of your target clients have job postings that match the candidates in your database. So you can reach out and get your foot in the door proactively, and already with something to offer your future client. Think of it like having a mini-recruiter assistant scanning the market for opportunities for you and your candidates every week. https://lnkd.in/d8wR_bNw

I automate Design Construction & Estimating in one program; efficiency is the prize. I'm a Builder, Estimator & Designer. Frustrated by the existing tech, I/we build integrated Virtual Design-Build-Estimating Software.
With an imminent housing/trade shortage, year ten school students should be encouraged to enter the construction industry. Why do Australian high schools encourage students to attend university accompanied by a hex debt when a career in construction is rewarding and pays more money earlier in life? A better way to make housing more affordable is to enter the workforce earlier and be qualified younger. Currently, I see and hear university-qualified, debt-laden baristas complaining about the cost of living... The reality is most get the wrong advice at school, which can easily remedied by parents and teachers.

Great interview with Rich Sawchak, CEO of Arlington portfolio company Systems Planning & Analysis and GovCon Wire discussing his insights on national security and trends within the industry. Rich highlights a few areas where SPA is seeing big surges in demand, including: Rethinking national security investments: "The existing U.S. national security hardware array was built with cost-control as the primary concern and schedule/capability as secondary concerns. Now that the nation is unambiguously facing multiple threats in diverse theaters, priorities have changed to emphasize urgency, readiness and capability, and SPA is engaged in that reassessment." Building the workforce of tomorrow: "Many aspects of the U.S. workforce were neglected over decades as well. SPA is helping government and industry target a variety of initiatives focusing on education, training and partnerships, especially education and training in STEM. Internally at SPA we are investing in digital tools, AI/ML options and our next generation of talent (including a robust internship program)." 💬 Quick #interviewtip: Be ready to get feedback 😁 I give feedback in my interviews, and, trust me, not everyone likes it! 😅 I give people the option of hearing it now or for it to be sent later in writing. I am very quick to say that this is based on the interview and the answers given. I am not saying you can't do this job, just that you did not demonstrate the competencies needed, usually then detailing 1-3 of those, as well as things that have gone well. Recently, someone said, pretty aggressively, "Well, maybe it is your fault for not understanding what I meant." (Good feedback for me, I guess.) So, the question is, do you thrive on #feedback or do you get #defensive? https://lnkd.in/e2urZKHB #Interviewing #hiring #interviewtips #feedbackready #beopen #behumble #beselfaware

"Unlocking Excellence: The Strategic Partnership Between Internal Teams and Businesses like FFP……… In the dynamic landscape of the tech industry, having an internal talent acquisition team is undoubtedly beneficial. However, the quest for greatness often involves seeking additional support. Partnering with a seasoned headhunter/recruiter is how many businesses are not just keeping up but excelling in the ever-evolving tech world. Rather than competing, agencies complement your internal team, creating a powerful synergy. Agency recruiters offer invaluable assets, including profound industry insights, an extensive network of tech professionals, and up-to-date salary benchmarking data. By leveraging these resources, we accelerate your hiring process, allowing your in-house team to concentrate on strategic growth initiatives. Hiring mistakes can prove costly, but agency recruiters mitigate that risk through a meticulous screening process. Our ability to swiftly adapt to fluctuating hiring needs ensures agility, and we provide a well-rounded perspective on candidates, adding depth to your decision-making process. While our services come with a cost, it is an investment that significantly outweighs the expense of a poor hire. Recognizing that investing in the right talent is not merely a cost but a long-term asset is key. The impact of having the right people on board is immeasurable and truly makes all the difference. Want to rely on judgement rather than luck with your hiring? Message me or book an initial call. https://lnkd.in/etY2Jxkc
