Founder & CEO of Jewelrock - creating extraordinary event and networking experiences for the innovative world of technology - currently creating the FAIR-Festival of AI+Robotics, the FAIR Soirée and the FAIR Awards 2025!
🚀Completing the curation of a powerhouse Advisory Group of influence and brilliance- looking so forward to working with the incomparable Brad Howarth! The themes of the FAIR are critical to growing the understanding of technology today and building the confidence of SMEs and industry to adopt and innovate now! See you at the FAIR!🚀🚀👉🏼
🚀 Advisory Group - Tech Leaders of Today 🚀🤖 Delighted to welcome Brad Howarth as an Advisor for the FAIR - Festival of AI + Robotics .🤩 Brad Howarth is a researcher, writer, trainer, and speaker with more than 25 years’ of experience investigating technology-driven change. He has written for numerous publications in Australia and around the world and remains a regular contributor to public debate regarding the development and impact of technology. Here are Brad’s thoughts on tech today… “There is a common mistake we make when talking about technology, and it's an easy one to make. It’s the mistake of spending too much time talking about the technology, and not enough talking about the experience of the people who use it. Technology is meant to make our lives easier. Often it does – frequently it doesn't. From business systems that impede our ability to work to networks that leak sensitive information to social media platforms that spread lies and leave us feeling more disconnected, the promise of technology is rarely represented in its reality. We need to change the conversations. We need to stop thinking about what technology can do for a business and think about what it can do for people. We need to stop talking about artificial intelligence and start talking about human intelligence. We need to look past how we will combat cybercrime and start focusing on how we can build human trust. And we need to stop launching new technologies and lamenting the consequences later. It’s time we started talking about our goals for technology and aiming to deliver those, rather than delivering what we can and learning to live with it.” To request a partnership proposal or express an interest in participating in the FAIR contact us here - https://lnkd.in/gQmFgibp See you at the #FAIR2024, 18-19 March 2024, Melbourne. #thefair2024mlb #AI #robotics #emergingtechnologies #technology #business #sustainability #metaverse #neurotechnology #quantum #web3 #business #networking #opportunities #research #TechShowcase #IndustryAdoption #AIAustralia

What are the tech trends and where do we at Scheidt & Bachmann focus on? From 📺 transparent tvs to 🎧 🧠 neural headphones that read your mind or 👟 moonwalker shoes that let you walk three times faster; the future of tech looks bright in 2024! These ideas are part of a round-up of exciting concepts from CES in Las Vegas. For me CES is one of the most impressive shows there are. Even though I don’t manage to attend every year, I do still “come along virtually” and watch what everyone is up to from Germany. Here’s a PREVIEW of how I see our 2024 at Scheidt & Bachmann: 🔹 TWO TOPICS OF FOCUS for us are: AI and e-mobility. Both offer huge opportunities for the future of our industry. Truly appreciating their value lets us develop more innovative solutions that serve our customers. 🚀 🔹 INVESTING IN OUR PEOPLE is a key part of our success, which is why I am extremely proud about our latest addition to our team Ralph Mahnke who joined us this month as Business Development Director e-Mobility & AI. ⚡ 🚙 💡 🔹 We recently BROKE NEW GROUND with amazing achievements, such as our co-operation with the world’s leading ev charging network ChargePoint Many more projects are in the pipeline that benefit from “crowd wisdom”. Together we can grow so much more. 💪 🔹 The INDUSTRY’S LEADING EVENT UNITI expo is on our agenda again for 2024 along with a nice variety of other key industry events and we are already deep in the planning stages – new things are coming! It’s set to be an exciting year for us which will keep us on our toes – key to staying innovative. 💡 #Hello2024 #FuelYourFuture #MultiEnergy #MultiService #SIQMA #WeShapeMobility

Founder & Publisher Asian Robotics Review; founder Bright Boys Media; author of The Untold Story of Everything Digital
THE MORNING AFTER CES2024 Wherever he is this morning, Gary Shapiro, the brain trust behind CES, must be jumping for joy. He brought CES back from the doldrums of doubt during COVID to 2024’s phantasmagoria of AI set loose on electronics, consumer or otherwise. In his 2011 book, The Comeback: How Innovation Will Restore the American Dream (just as we were emerging from some very dark days), he wrote: "We need to pursue national policies that encourage creativity, and new ideas. For the United States to rise out of its current economic doldrums, we need to invest in technological innovation and create an environment where entrepreneurs can challenge, improve, and strengthen our society." CES2024 showcased a truly unique look at our future. Thanks, Gary, we needed that and you delivered! Okay, jump all you want. It’s your special day. For those still curious, check it out here https://www.ces.tech/
