My thoughts exactly... 😔🌍 I love the Olympics, by what it means and value it carries, and one of my most memorable moments in life was in Athens visiting the origins of it. Yet.. I could not avoid thinking, while watching the inspiring and amazing festivities of the opening ceremony, can't we do it in a more sustainable way? Can't we find other ways to be "together" in sports, arts and cultural events? Is the disparity of resources' use sustainable for how long?... I do not have an answer. Only questions. And mixed feelings. Hopefully someone else better equipped than me, will come up with a solution. 🙏 #sustainability #events #resources #planet
