We tend to think of big weather events and flooding, but sometimes we're caught off guard. * A few months ago, the neighbor of one of our founders returned home from vacation to find her home flooded. It was a pipeline rupture in the master bath. By the time the family returned, not only were the walls, furniture, and floors extensively damaged, but so too was everything stashed in boxes under the bed and in the closet. Can you guess what that included? * "I had a collection of newspaper articles in a scrapbook about the textiles company my great grandfather founded in the closet. Under the bed was the original box with the old family photos and letters. I just never thought about them. And they're beyond repair. There are no duplicates. It's heartbreaking. And I feel guilty. It's all gone." * Artifct today. Be better prepared for tomorrow. It's easy and fun, one Artifct at a time. #beprepared #keepthememories #insureit #estateplan #familyphotos #familyheirlooms #collectibles #flood #floodinsurance

I help people and businesses get back on their feet after disaster by restoring their most important belongings.
The contents of your home are more than just “stuff.” I’ll bet in every room of your home, you’ll find at least one if not several, invaluable items that cannot simply be replaced. Wedding albums and other photo memorabilia, an antique piece of furniture handed down through generations, or an original piece of artwork (even your kid’s first art project that you framed, although all it shows is a couple of scribbles). So many things within our homes that hold the highest sentimental value. Now, imagine disaster strikes and any of these items are damaged as a result. That’s where Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of North Central NJ comes in. Unless it’s damaged beyond repair, we’ll restore it for you. We work directly with you, your mitigation company and/or insurance company, to bring those items back to life… even that couch your husband/wife convinced you to buy years ago that you may hate. By restoring the salvageable contents of your home, you avoid having to discard and replace them, potentially saving thousands of dollars. Avoiding these red flags is crucial when buying a home! Keep an eye out for: 1. Water Damage: Look for signs like stains, mold, or musty smells. 2. Roof Age: An older roof might mean upcoming repair expenses. 3. Neighborhood Sell-Out: Frequent listings might signal issues in the area. 4. Foundation Cracks: They could indicate significant structural problems. 5. Termite Damage: These pests can cause extensive damage if unnoticed. 6. Structural Shifts: Indicated by sticky doors or sloping floors. 7. Sagging Ceilings: A sign of potential issues like water damage. 8. Bargain Prices: If it's too good to be true, there might be hidden problems. Ready to find your dream home without the headaches? Contact me TODAY! Almost every real estate agent will tell you that curb appeal is one of the most important factors in a home sale. After all, that is a buyer’s first impression of your home and could be the determining factor of whether they view your home or not. Therefore, it’s imperative that you focus on enhancing the curb appeal of your home as much as possible before you place it on the market–especially this time of year when other homes will have flowers blooming and tidy lawns. Here are some ways to enhance the curb appeal of your home to ensure buyers want to come inside: 🏡 Plant annuals by the mailbox or front door to add color. 🏡 Paint your front door. 🏡 Add fresh mulch to the plant beds and pull weeds. 🏡 Mow the lawn frequently. 🏡 Add a welcome mat or wreath to make your home welcoming and homey. Spend some time outside this spring to tidy up your yard and add value to your home at the same time. When you’re ready to put your home on the market, reach out to me: sue@levinsonera.com or https://lnkd.in/eEwPWYja. #HomeSellingTips #HomeSalesBySue #CurbAppeal

A leaky roof is often the culprit behind water stains on ceilings. This could be because of an aging roof with cracks or a chimney with deteriorating flashing. Or maybe a storm has recently rolled through your area, causing a few shingles to fall off. for more tips, or in need of the home inspection, click the link in the bio✅🏡‼️ #atlantahomeinspection #atlantahomeinspections #atlantahomeinspector #atlantahomeinspectors #georgiahomeinspector #Georgiahomeinspections #duediligence #explorepage #explore #reels

Moving STINKS! 🥲 No one wants to move. Fighting the cobwebs in your attic or basement's dark corners to remove junk is awful. Labeling, packing, and lifting is no fun. 👉 It's not only the labor you worry about. It's a life change. Selling and moving is mentally draining. But, the home you enjoyed for this long is no longer the right fit for you. 🏡 🎯That is why I created the Momentum Method. It's a guide I've made from two decades of experience to help you. I can't go back in time to tell you that you don't need that old chair in the attic. What I can do is introduce you to a plan that has helped dozens of home sellers succeed. 💪 💥 That plan starts with a call or text: 617.694.0004 #localagentsboston #listingagentboston #downsizerboston #hireanexpertagent #emptynesterboston #northofbostonhomes #bostonhomesforsale #homestagingboston #openhouseboston #bostonhomestaging #massachusettshomesforsale #massachusettslistingagent #northofbostonrealestate #bostonhomesforsale #buyingandsellinghomes #homesellingtips #bostonopenhouse #massachusettsopenhouse #realestatephotos #sellyourhomeboston #sellingyourhome #homesellers2024 #dreamhomeboston #northfbostonhomesearch #buyingandsellinghomes #coastalhomesmassachusetts #middlesexcountyma #readingmahomes #wakefieldhomes #stonehamhomes #northreadinghomes
