Yesterday, we announced the opening of our third BeatCore location, and this time, it will be in Barcelona. Today, I want to reflect on our mission, which has been significantly influenced by my personal experience.
When we launched BeatCore back in February 2023, it marked a drastic change in my professional career.
We started the company with limited funding, always keeping profitability in mind. Almost ten months have passed since our inception, and now we are refining our mission. While profitability remains a crucial aspect, we have recently discovered that making a meaningful impact—though it may sound like a cliché—is an even greater aspiration in life.
Over the past weeks, I have witnessed the powerful potential of an organization, even when it is as small as we still are. BeatCore is pivoting to maximize our impact while maintaining profitability—this balance is essential to sustain our mission. As Friedman emphasized, "The Social Responsibility of Business Is To Increase Its Profits," and I firmly adhere to this principle.
Our focus is on making a positive impact starting with our employees. We are committed to paying above-industry salaries and assisting in transforming their lives. We believe that by caring for and positively influencing our employees, they, in turn, will do the same for our clients.
Perhaps it's a coincidence, but in a time when ideas of liberty, freedom, and capitalism are flourishing in Argentina, I am personally discovering how businesses can serve as true vectors for the transformation of lives and societies.
Today, we are pleased to announce the signing of a new BeatCore venue set to open in February 2024. On this occasion, the new studio will be located on one of the most iconic streets of Barcelona—Avenida Diagonal. Casa Comalat, a modernist building, will serve as the new home of BeatCore in this fabulous city.
