#PinkOctober #No-oneshouldfacebreastcanceralone #breastcancerawareness The burden of breast cancer is higher in low and middle-income countries (LMIC) where at least half of breast cancer cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage, compared to less than one-fifth in high-income countries (HIC). Late diagnosis poses an increased risk of advanced cancer stages, which results in more limited treatment response and survival rates. Let's raise our voice for greater awareness and improve the early detection of breast cancer. Our collective efforts can bridge inequities and potentially change the course of this disease.
