'Pick your bloomin Lego up!' Yep... those pesky brightly coloured bits that litter the floor at home and cause me as much pain as stepping on a plug are now improving business dialogue, reflection and promoting innovation. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is a proven strategy to help teams improve in a number of ways. Slightly skeptical (as usual some might say) I was asked to build a tower. The questions that followed opened conversations around the room that were intriguing and eye opening. Why did you make a base like that? Why did you choose those colours? What was the final outcome of the tower you wanted to achieve? What could you achieve if you had more time? An insight into how different people, their personalities and character think and act. Thus providing knowledge to support teams when making decisions in the future. Fascinating eh?! Either way, getting people to talk (even when slightly grumpy) can't be a bad thing. Thanks to Dianne Gill and Hilary Lewis 🔎🏦et al for another brilliant CLC event for Dementia Support. #lego #team #business #networking

NEW YEAR'S SALE! We have just released our version 2.0 for the price DKK 39 kr. There is something to THINK ABOUT HERE. Now just look at the PICTURE on the lower right' of the Laptop, then notice how the Latin Alphabet is displayed with only the CAPITAL LETTERS😱 and that's how it LOOKS' on almost all KEYBOARDS in use today. Do YOU remember what the alphabet looked like in YOUR primary school class, small pieces of cardboard that still hang in one long row on the wall in many classrooms. So we all could and still SEE the entire Latin alphabet, with both CAPITAL and lowercase letters. I'm sorry to say THEY ARE GREAT COMPUTER COMPANIES🙇♂️HAS FAILED BIG in the dawn of time🌈🌈🌈🌍🌏🌎 A SIMPLE IDEA WITH A HUGE EFFECT I have come so far today. REMEMBER🌍🌏🌎💻🖥️⌨️📱🪫? 🔑 to Letterkey.eu EVERYTHING STARTS WITH THE CHILDREN👍❤️🌞 Children love colors🌈🌈🌈 I also won the European Language Prize in 2011 and in 2012 I was invited by the European Commission to Cyprus for 5 wonderful days, for one huge conference for the entire EU as well as the USA, Australia and Canada. Yes, this is also where the colors fit in with school children on the KEYBOARD, listen to BRAIN RESEARCHER Peter Lund Madsen in the video below on the link FaseBook YouTube 👍 Alphabet Keyboard Idea. Letterkey has cracked the learning code' for our children / schooling and the weak spelling and writing inhibited children as adults / bilingual, Damp, Autistics, dyslexia, etc. You can buy the idea on Apple's AppStore called Letterkey for just DKK 39. Then you get your own extra keyboard which contains 2 different colored Designs that you can choose from, which can initially be used by Apple IOS iPhone Tablet and Laptop. Watch the video below. Here I talk about my IDEA and how simple it is with the Alphabet Keyboard Idea and how much TIME can be SAVED, only because now THEY can see the whole ALPHABET on the keyboard and with a little color on it, like vowels and consonants. ( It's 3 in ONE ) ( Faster learning ) TIME is MONEY. As we wandered through Brickfest, surrounded by all those awe-inspiring LEGO creations, something pretty deep hit us... You know how LEGO pieces just fit together perfectly? Well, each of us at SPARC is like one of those essential bricks. From our awesome staff and volunteers to our rockstar sponsors, donors, and families, to our loveable participants -we're like a huge LEGO set. Every single one of us brings something unique to the table. And we're not just building random stuff here – we're building something big. We're piecing together a fortress of inclusion, connection, and empowerment, brick by brick. We're all about honoring our edges, strengthening our bonds, and making our community more whole. Just like how LEGO pieces come in all shapes and colors, we're a diverse bunch. But when we team up, we make something pretty awesome – a big, beautiful mosaic of people and ideas. Whether we're playing games, getting creative, or learning new stuff, we're all in this together. We're building a future where everyone's voice matters and where everyone feels like they belong. So, let's keep building together, one colorful brick at a time! #BuildingConnections #SPARCCommunity #TogetherWeBuild #Brickfest #Legolove

There are no sky-scrappers, casinos or night-clubs in Billund. Just calm and quiet streets, modern downtown, slowly moving locals and… the LEGO Group. The company worth of billions. Also known as the “Capital of Children”, Billund counts ~ 7000 citizens and 3 000 000 tourists every year. Back in my Soviet occupied childhood I had no opportunities to play LEGO whatsoever… But now being in my early 40s I felt like child again: LEGOLAND in Billund made it up for me. Why am I sharing this? It’s because the LEGO Group is a family owned business and I cannot stop wondering on its succession story. From the foundation in 1932 the family always kept the full control of the company. Key success factors: 📌 never ending innovations: digital transformation, high quality toys, which stimulates learning experiences and fun for children and their parents. 📌high integrity with society: “Capital of Children” atracts professionals and seasonal workers to a small city and LEGO family makes huge investments into real estate of the city. 📌 family constitution and family support: family agreed that all owners in each generation are engaged and responsible shareholders. 📌 gradual management succession: it took 7 years (2016-2023) for full take over from 3rd to 4th generation of the family. 📌 family education: LEGO school is a preparational programme for the 5th generation owners of the Kirk Kristiansen family, which is comprised by monthly learning days about the entities under the the LEGO Group. The 5th generation consists of 7 girls, representing the children of the 4th generation. 📌 professional family office: KIRKBI A/S is the private holding and investment company of Kirk Christensen family, which widely diversify long term investments between core and thematic capital: equities, fixed income, real estate, venture capital, renewable energy with sustainability focus. 📌 customers loyalty: “as a child, I have passed my driving licence in this park 25 years ago, it’s time for my daughter to pass it”, said one father at the cashier desk at LEGOLAND. No doubt, business longevity is guaranteed for decades. I wish for a day, when the LEGO Group goes public. On that day I will not only buy new LEGO for my kids, but I will buy shares for their inspiring future. #familybusiness #succession

💡 Knowledge-sharing, case studies from members of our Brickmind community and group work on how to apply LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® to build up resilience. 💡 Day 2 of the LSP Conference is full of inspiring activities as our participants share experiences and continue building relationships among each other within their LSP network. 🚀 The conference is naturally not only about the theoretical background of LSP and this year's theme "Resilience through play". Our participants have also been busy with building and developing practical exercises with the focus on resilience as theme. 💪 #Resilience #LSPConference2023 #Brickmind #innovation #LEGO #seriousplay

Awesome Workshop with LEGO Serious Play! As part of our ongoing Confidence Programme at Creative Spark, we had the massive privilege of Beccy Irving delivering a LEGO Serious Play workshop for us. It was such a fun and creative way to learn more about ourselves, each other and how we can grow together. We built LEGO models that showed off our strengths and what we each bring to the team. The picture is my model... That's me, balancing many strands, with eyes over everything, keeping aware of whats happening across the business and tackling as needed. It was really cool to see everyone's unique contributions. We also had some great discussions about where we want to improve and how we can support each other in our growth. The best part? We had so much fun while learning! Making models that represented each other was really good too - seeing the strengths that our team mates see in us was really interesting (and a bit of a boost!). A big thank you to Beccy and to everyone who joined in with so much enthusiasm. This workshop definitely brought us closer and gave us new insights to push our projects forward. Looking forward to the next stages of the Confidence Programme. #TeamBuilding #LEGOseriousplay #ProfessionalDevelopment #Workshops #TeamStrengths #ContinuousLearning
