The challenges are not insurmountable, but they require concerted and collaborative efforts from all the actors involved in the environmental service sector, including governments, businesses, civil society, and academia. By working together, we can overcome the challenges and seize the opportunities to create a more sustainable future for all.

Historically, Tribal communities have been among the most underserved groups when it comes to environmental justice support and funding. Now more than ever, Tribes access to federal programs and grants for environmental justice initiatives. Created by the The White House in tandem with the #30x30 targets, the #Justice40 program addresses environmental justice across the nation. For Tribal communities, this includes administrative burdens, eligibility requirements, competition, costs, and federal regulations.
