Yea it’s a five minute video, who watches those anymore! However, if you followed us over the course of Serve Week 2024 (The Ocho) this is an awesome wrap up and great work by the team. We try and use LinkedIn to open a window into our culture. And while Foundry Commercial isn’t perfect and we will always have work to do in pursuit of our standards, I think this is one of the things we get really right. We are a services company and spending time with these amazing organizations, which we encourage you to check out and support, reminds us what true service looks like. It is a week where we try to give back and we always end up getting so much more than we give. Great job Lauren and the entire Serve Week support team. #foundrycommercial #itspersonal #theocho #serveweek2024

Author, "The Lessons Donors Teach Us: Memorable Episodes in Donor-Centric Fundraising" | President, Intentional Consulting LLC
Nonprofits do “profit” citizens, communities and cultures in numerous ways. Nonprofits are there to source relief organizations, scholarship initiatives, free clinics and literacy programs. Are there to preserve a city’s historical assets, civic treasures and environmental aesthetics. Are there to promote and to ensure the progress of grassroots causes—in your neighborhood and mine too. Are there to answer our calls…fill in our gaps…elevate our understanding of what matters most. Are there enriching, enhancing and expanding the goodwill, good sense, good deeds and good faith already present in society. And in doing this, nonprofits profit all. Upholding what is most necessary, noble and nonnegotiable for all. Another thought from my “A Sector of Better Angels” series.

We love 4/20, but not the waste that comes with it. That’s why, every April, we give the money we’d normally spend on signs and merch to nonprofits across the country. This little card is the only 4/20 swag you’ll see from us this year! Why this card? Because the compostable paper is full of cherry tomato seeds! Keep an eye out for our 4ward20 plantable seed cards during your next dispensary run. Bury it in the soil, give it some water, and wait for your garden to grow. 🍅🌱💧☀
