🎉Exciting News! Ashton Testing Services is proud to announce our partnership with the Canadian Alliance of Regulatory Bodies of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CARB-TCMPA) to proctor CARB-TCMPA's exams! CARB-TCMPA serves as the national forum for regulatory authorities across Canada, promoting quality practice and labor mobility for Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists. With founding members from British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland and Labrador, CARB-TCMPA ensures public protection through collaborative activities and by setting high standards for regulation, education, and training. The Pan-Canadian Examinations assess the competencies required for safe, competent, and ethical practice. These exams are crucial for registration as a TCM Practitioner, Acupuncturist, or TCM Herbalist. We're excited to help maintain the integrity and security of these important assessments. Great news! 🎉 The Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (AHM) Coalition has written in support of the “No Fees for EFTs Act,” to the Representatives and Senators of Washington. AHM strongly supports H.R. 6487, the “No Fees for EFTs Act,” which aims to eliminate unnecessary electronic fund transfer (EFT) fees imposed on acupuncturists by health plans and vendors. These predatory fees, often ranging from 2% to 5% of claim payments, add significant financial and administrative burdens, diverting resources from patient place care. By prohibiting such fees, this bipartisan legislation will help reduce these strains, allowing acupuncturists to focus more on their patients. We commend the leadership on this crucial issue and look forward to advancing this legislation. Visit https://bit.ly/AHMC-HR and https://bit.ly/AHMC-Senate to view the full letters. 🤩 #AHMCoalition #NCCAOM #EFT #legislation

🌟 Approaching retirement? It's crucial to understand Medicare! 🌟 Medicare offers comprehensive coverage, but did you know there are specific rules for alternative therapies like chiropractic care and acupuncture? 📌 Chiropractic Care: Medicare Part B covers chiropractic services for spinal subluxation. Ensure your chiropractor is Medicare-approved, and remember, not all services like massage or X-rays are covered. 📌 Acupuncture: Medicare Part B covers acupuncture for chronic low back pain under certain conditions. You can get up to 12 sessions in 90 days with a qualified provider. Navigating Medicare can be tricky, especially with alternative therapies. For personalized guidance, contact Kristen Matthews, Certified Elder Law Attorney, at 484-874-2987. #Medicare #ChiropracticCare #Acupuncture #HealthCoverage #RetirementPlanning #ElderLaw #KMLaw

📣Calling all Acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine Practitioners In June, Hila Yaffe and I had the honor of hosting an online lecture with TCM Academy of Integrative Medicine, where we discussed the importance of creating a safe healing environment through ethical, legal, and clinical considerations of using the intimate acupuncture point #HuiYin #Cv1. This critical session highlighted the reasons to avoid using this point in our practice🚫 During the live lecture, participants raised vital concerns, including how this point was taught in colleges. It's clear that this discussion is far from over, and we encourage you to continue sharing your experiences and insights 🗣️. 👉 Exciting Update: We’ve decided, together with TCM Academy, to offer this recorded lecture completely free to ensure everyone in our community has access to this important conversation. For those seeking accreditation points, it’s still possible to earn them by opting for a paid version. 🎓✨ We invite you to: 1. Watch the recorded lecture (link attached) 2. Start a thread and share your thoughts or experiences with HuiYin Cv1 in the clinic. 💬 Prefer to share privately? Feel free to reach out to us directly. Your experiences are invaluable, and we look forward to hearing from you! Best, Orit & Hila https://lnkd.in/exjc9QC8 #SafeHealingEnvironment #acupuncture #EthicsInPractice

The safety of our patients and the success of treatments begin long before diagnosis and treatment planning. The environment we create, along with how we communicate and approach our patients, plays an equally significant role. Are we choosing treatment strategies ethically? Do we really have to use this particular procedure, or could our patients benefit from a less invasive option? Join the discussion! Orit Zilberman Hila Yaffe TCM Academy of Integrative Medicine
