Ph.D. Candidate in Development Economics and Institutions || Researcher || Interests in Development Economics, Environmental Economics, Welfare Economics and Macroeconomic Policy || Open to collaborative research works
I am pleased to share with you the findings of a co-authored paper with Distinguished Prof. Simplice Asongu (PhD), Prof. Peter Agyemang-Mintah (PhD, CPA), and Prof. Joseph Nnanna published in Financial innovation. This study assesses the role of mobile money innovations on income inequality and gender inclusion in 42 sub-Saharan African countries from 1980 to 2019 using interactive quantile regressions. From the findings of this research, it follows that policymakers should work toward improving conditions for mobile money innovations. By implication, reducing both income inequality and enhancing mobile money innovations simultaneously leads to more inclusive outcomes in terms of gender inclusion. For further reading, you can freely access the paper here: https://lnkd.in/eNZvJJuh. #innovation #mobilemoney #incomeinequality #genderinclusion #SSA #researchpublication
