Partnering with the best Housebuilding businesses, I stop the wrong people from joining. Over 6750 meetings in 22 years of headhunting. I won't pretend to be your best friend. I'm paid to search. I don't want CVs.
You've heard about burning the midnight oil, what about the 5am midnight oil that is now the next day? Sometimes, working through the night seems completely bonkers for many people. Off the scale of reality for any long-term scenario. When things have to get done, they have to get done and that's the mindset I look for when identifying senior personnel. I'm not interested in the clock watchers. I also don't think that working through the night is particularly healthy and wouldn't recommend it. It's the mindset I'm after. The people who are prepared to go the extra 100,000 miles. Grafters not Grifters. Now I need a smart Commercial Director in Yorkshire. I need an early career Assistant Engineer who likes the nicer things in life, East Midlands based. An Ambitious Sales/CRM star is required for selling properties to investors in the Birmingham patch. A Senior QS is required in the Southern patch, someone who wants to make a big difference. A Project Surveyor is required in the Southern patch to help with growing pains. Another Project Surveyor is required in the Southern patch, able to grow with the business and the department as they embark on some juicy projects. BetterCallSimon.co.uk

We don’t want to just supplement your claims! We strive to be supplemental to your entire company. With 30 plus years combined industry knowledge, that is always changing. We are confident we can help out any contractor. Whether you are a small business and it’s not in the budget to hire an internal estimator, or you are an established contractor that has an internal estimator. Contractors with no internal estimator-we do not charge per estimate, we only bill on supplemental items. Saving you on a salary & benefits. We want to help you develop a process for growth. You have a company to run, sales to hire/train, appointments, why take on more work and spread yourself thin? Contractors with internal estimators- we can supplement your internal estimator. If you have more than 10 sales reps, it’s likely your estimator gets bogged down. This leads to top producers not getting the turn around they are looking for, which leads to sales retention issues. Instead of them looking for that greener grass, when we can assist to meet your turn around expectations and keep the sales force & your estimator happy. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in discussing. Please email us assignments@prevailclaimsmn.com or send us a message to set up a sit down to discuss how we can help your company. . . . . #minnesota #midwest #stormrestoration #claims #claimshandling #supplement #storm #stormdamage #contractor #skilledtrades #contractorsofinstagram #home #homeimprovement #motivate #newroof #roof #roofer #roofers #growth #roofing #roofingcompany #roofingcontractor #roofingcontractors #rooftop #for #growthmindset #generalcontractor #value #integrity #knowledge

We just helped one of our GC partners hire a Senior Estimator in 5 weeks. Here’s how it all went down: ▶ Got referred from a Fractional CFO connection ▶ Had an intro meeting with the President and Fractional CFO ▶ Got an agreement signed ▶ Had an onboarding meeting with the President and one of his partners ▶ Sourced and screened 74 candidates ▶ Sent 1 candidate to be interviewed and considered for the position ▶ Candidate went through the interview process and was presented an offer ▶ Candidate countered and accepted the revised offer Estimators are some of the toughest positions to fill in construction. Our searches aren’t always this seamless, but this one went about as well as they can. Happy client, happy candidate. ... P.S. We're starting a Director of Operations search for them in about 3 weeks, so hit me up if you have experience running a $50M+ general contracting company and live in or are open to relocating to California (federal/public works experience is a major plus). #groundupconstructionrecruiting

Senior Disaster Response-Resiliency Consultant | Organizational Growth and Human Capacity Builder, JD, LLM, MA
I highly recommend any qualified Emergency Manager consider these challenging opportunities in Sacramento. Toward the end of my first year with FEMA Region VII, I was detailed as an Appeals Analyst, a role that combines administrative law, policy, politics, humility, and humanity. Unofficially, the job consists of educating recipients and sub-recipients of Disaster Recovery funding procedures and processing first-line or second-line appeals from those same entities when their Disaster Management expenditures were deemed not in line with established standards. Basically, you get to research and explain denials of funding and either approve reversals of that determination or affirm the original result. It's a fascinating subset of our administrative law jurisprudence allowing the applicants to continue seeking redress of allegedly unjust actions upwards as appropriate. During my detail, I basically researched and drafted legal memoranda the exact same way my law school classes used fact patterns and appropriate controlling or persuasive case law. It was by far the nerdiest and most fun job I had at FEMA because I truly enjoyed these exercises in law school. The Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide (PAPPG), my first Emergency Management Bible, though typically vague, offered a thrilling challenge as I navigated its complexities, applying actions on past Disasters and Appeals as as case law. You do not need a law degree to do the work, but if you happen to have one and want to get into the trenches, it's a good way to stay fresh and try something new.
🚨 We're Hiring! 🚨 FEMA Consolidated Resource Center (CRC) West is actively recruiting. We're looking for a talented Appeal Analyst and Construction Analyst to join our team in Sacramento, CA. Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of something impactful! Apply now! If you're looking for "the painters" for your project, we're likely not your team. But if you're looking for project partners, we're the right team for the job. We're partners who are invested in the project from the start. And don't disappear when things get hard. We're partners who find proactive ways to add the most value. And show you what we did to make your project better. We're partners who want everyone to win. And don't just care about themselves. That's what you get when you work with our team. And that's what we bring to every project. #construction #scottcoatings #commercial
