I love the man. I grew up watching his absolutely spectacular and deeply relaxing and bordering on healing TV show, Fawlty Towers. Like "A Doctor In the House", "Mind Your Language" and all of those wholesome TV shows without coarsely presented sociopolitical agendas, we, the kids looked forward to watching them. And, we better have done your chores or not have done anything to offend our mom or else, no watching for you. Heard him speak too and, I could hear substance in not just his words but, the very essence of where he was coming from. Filled values, principles and standards that tend towards the mental well-being, evolution and continued aspiration of humanity to what's the highest in us as opposed to what prevails now where we're constantly being bombarded by messages asking us to not even try and to just give in or revert to the lowest, the ugliest, the most negative and easiest in us. Even a common acorn seeks to be more and reach its fullest potential by germinating and continuing to reach to become an acorn. Here we are, the creation with the highest intelligence as we claim to be, failing and refusing to even agree that there are fundamental and objective truths, wallowing in self-delusion because that's easier than trying to be better human beings. As important and indispensable as money is, it doesn't necessarily make a person a better person. It more often than not, just amplifies the very character and nature of people. I mean, look at the allegations against the record label person ongoing now and, all of the other rich people we know of who died in very deplorable ways, certainly not in their old ages surrounded by their children, grandchildren and other family members, friends and so on. Some dying in bathtubs from drug overdose allegedly and so on. What's the point to being rich or wealthy then? The one too that's in prison now who worked with the one that allegedly killed himself in prison. Whether we accept objective facts and realities or not, we cannot escape their consequences. It's like drinking arsenic poison while claiming relentlessly that it's a shot of vodka. Of course, the result is death and nothing else. There seems to be a deliberate agenda to make us aspire to the lowest in us which makes it easier for us to be controlled and kept at the level of modern corporate slaves. One must follow the money to find out who such an agenda benefits. Like corralled sheep, too many of us just don't care or are oblivious of all the schemes. Makes me wonder.
