We are defined by how we respond to tribulation. When a Tornado struck our plant in New Boston, TX, and caused over $1 million in damage, our team rose up and went to work to make sure we could continue serving our customers uninterrupted. That's the #PalletOne difference.
This is terrible reminder of how disruptive severe weather can be to an organization. Having the correct policies and procedures in place is essential to the safety and well being of your employees and business. Emergency action plans (EAP) is not just a document that should be sitting on a shelve and never evaluated or practiced. According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), almost 40 percent of small businesses never reopen their doors after a disaster. After the weather event is done the next step is getting your organization back up and running. This is where having a business continuity plan is essential to the continued success of the organization. #riskmanagement#HUB

Trend here is westerly diurnal winds, which means #SmithFire & #MillFire are gonna get pushed toward the Beckwourth Complex and Loyalton scars, respectively. Fortunately, that should keep them off the 395, an area that tends to create fire tornadoes & nasty fire behavior.

I bet most of us know someone who has had a costly roof leak, caused by increasingly powerful storms. And I bet everyone of them could have used a system like this! Introducing Attic Storm Shield.

One of my favorite standup comedians is Ron White who I’m sure most know. In one of his bits he talks about a man who thought he was in such good shape at the age of 53 that he could tolerate the winds of class 3 hurricane by tying himself to a tree.
Ron White goes on to say “Alright, let me explain something to ya; it isn’t THAT the wind is blowing, it’s WHAT the wind is blowing! If you get hit with a Volvo, it doesn’t really matter how many sit-ups you did that morning.”
I can’t help but think of this bit when some of these drone manufactures try to justify their lobbying practices. Stating “well… DJI spends more money on lobbying than we do!”
“Alright, let me explain something to these drone manufacturers, it’s not THAT you’re lobbying, it’s WHAT you’re lobbying for that matters. When you're lobbying efforts put American lives at risk stripping public safety officials of life saving tools, it doesn’t matter exactly how much you spend on lobbying.”
Your justifications are as weak as your products and are as shallow as your marketing efforts. You’re not fooling anyone who is actually paying attention. Do better, be better!
