How did shipyards perform in 2023? 📈 Here are some key highlights extracted from SuperYacht Times' latest SYT iQ Insights article - A 20% growth in deliveries of 30-meter-plus yachts from 2022 to 2023. - Ferretti Group leads in the number of units delivered (36 yachts), closely followed by Azimut|Benetti Group and Sanlorenzo Yachts UK. - Although Lürssen delivered only two units, the yard led in terms of total GT with 16,009 GT - Looking at the total metres delivered, data shows that the Ferretti Group led in 2023 with 1,249 metres, followed by Azimut-Benetti and Sanlorenzo - Looking ahead to 2024, preliminary data from the forthcoming market report, the State of Yachting 2024, anticipates approximately 205 deliveries (compared to 201 in 2023) in the 30-metre-plus category. These numbers represent just a glimpse into the continued expansion of the superyacht industry. With an upward trajectory, there's ample space for new suppliers to thrive.
