📢It's a big deal!🎊 We are excited to share that we’ve recently been awarded an EcoVadis Bronze Medal in recognition of our recent sustainability assessment! This prestigious recognition holds even greater significance this year due to the introduction of new assessment methods. Unlike previous years with pre-defined scores, the 2024 results are now based on a comparative analysis of companies' performances globally. The Bronze Medal places Ouman among the top 35% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis within the last 24 months. EcoVadis evaluates companies across four sustainability themes: environment, ethics, labor and human rights, and sustainable procurement. As the global leader in sustainability ratings, EcoVadis has assessed the sustainability practices of over 130,000 companies worldwide, using internationally recognized standards such as the UN Global Compact, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and ISO 26000. The EcoVadis assessment is out! Based on the score thresholds for the medals in 2024, halstrup-walcher was awarded the Bronze category (Top 35% of all rated companies). 🚀 The results on the evaluation platform allow companies to compare their activities for the benefit of sustainability. As in previous years, EcoVadis evaluates 21 sustainability criteria in four categories: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The quality of the sustainability management of the assessed companies is scored using a point system. Even though we received the Bronze award instead of Silver this year due to the adjusted evaluation criteria by EcoVadis, we are very proud of our continuous achievements in the field of sustainability. And more important than the medal itself is the transparency on where we can further improve in the future.
