The Department of State (DoS) participated in the National
Contract Management Association (NCMA) career fair in Tysons.
On November 20, the DoS participated in the NCMA Tysons Chapter Career Fair at George Mason University. With the theme "Empowering the Future," this event connected students, federal agencies, and businesses to build pathways to success.
Representing the DoS were James Weldon, Trena Mills, Shaelyn Little, and Renée Hill, who shared insights about careers in federal service, the hiring process, and opportunities available within DoS. Through one-on-one sessions, they provided personalized guidance to students eager to explore public service careers.
We’re proud to collaborate with the NCMA to support the next generation of leaders and workforce innovators!

🌟 FMF Career Fair- 2024: A Journey of Dreams and Opportunities 🌟
The recently completed FMF Career Fair at the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who participated. It was a day filled with excitement, hope, and endless possibilities as our talented students embarked on their journey toward building fulfilling careers.
From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric. Booths from numerous esteemed companies, both big and small, were set up, ready to meet our eager students. The fair was not just a platform for job opportunities but a space where students could network, gain insights, and gather invaluable advice from industry experts.
We were thrilled to witness our students engaging confidently with potential employers, showcasing their skills, and seizing the opportunities presented to them. Their determination and enthusiasm were truly inspiring.
A special thank you goes out to the organizing committee whose hard work and dedication made this event possible. The meticulous planning, coordination, and effort they put in were evident in every aspect of the fair. It was heartwarming to see our community come together to support the future leaders of tomorrow.
In the words of one of our students, "The FMF Career Fair was a turning point for me. It opened doors I never knew existed and gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams."
As we reflect on the success of this event, we are filled with pride and optimism. The future is bright for our students, and we are committed to continuing our support as they navigate their career paths.
Here's to many more successful career fairs and to the bright futures of our students!

( WSIB ) ANTISEMITISM, HATRED, AND RASESS;
After a workplace accident, WSIB put me through hell and made my injuries twice as worse permanently then robbed me of my benefits just because of the colour of my skin. Sandra Di Carlo the case manager took me out from physio therapy that was helping me with my recovery and sent me to wsib Doctor and physio therapy that made my injuries twice as worse permanently. Deb Remekie, The lady at WSIB that robbed me of my benefit, she said that I can sell jewelry, she thinks because I am black I can steal jewelry and sell, so she decided to rob me of my benefit. And it's not a joke she said it verbally and in writing. And believed it or not the APPEALS TRIBUNAL agreed with her without a doubt or any question Atal. The Tribunal did not look at my file, apparently they don't even care to look at my file.
THIS ORGANIZATION SHOULD OF NOT EXIST IN CANADA
