Generation change is happening, and me, as someone who have seen old aviation as a kid, but also as a proffessional think aviation in general is going in the wrong direction skill-wise, because my father and his generation(Einar,Jan, Anders P. ,Erik in CPH in SAS, my former boss and Marek in Go2Sky, a lot of guys of older generation in CTN) were/are more skilled than us, and our generation is looking at the further decline with Gen Z. But, regardless of the decline, they are still heroes of the industry working through holidays, nights and weekends, because, unlike pilots, they do keep aviation going 24/7, and are usually more trained(to get a licence, you will need up to 7 years in total, and a lot of learning) are more skilled than their flying counterparts. We have to think what cost cutting has done to aviation, and what talent we are attracting long term.
