Operational Update: Copper and Lithium Exploration, Botswana Aterian plc (LSE: ATN), the critical metal-focused exploration and development company, is pleased to provide an update on activities since the conclusion of the Share Purchase Agreement ("SPA") to acquire a 90 % interest in Atlantis Metals (Pty) Ltd ("Atlantis") in the Republic of Botswana ("Botswana"), as announced on 8 April 2024. Atlantis is a private Bostwana registered entity holding seven prospecting licences in the world-renowned Kalahari Copper Belt ("KCB") and three licences prospective for lithium brine in the Makgadigadi Region of Botswana. Highlights: 👉 Atlantis holds a portfolio of ten strategically located licences for #copper-#silver ("Cu-Ag") and #lithium brine (''Li'') projects in Botswana, covering 4,486.11 km2. 👉 Three licences are held, covering a combined 2,516.93 km2 within the Makgadikgadi Pans, considered highly prospective for lithium brine. 👉 Initial target generation has been completed using available airborne geophysical data and remote sensing. 👉 Three licences are prioritised for initial fieldwork for the KCB licences. 👉 Two areas of interest have been identified on the lithium brine project for field follow-up. An Australian-first rare earths and critical minerals project in Dubbo, regional NSW, has taken a material step forward after Australian Strategic Materials (ASM) received financial backing from a US export credit agency.   Export-Import Bank of the United States (USEXIM) signed a non-binding and conditional Letter of Interest to provide a debt funding package of up to $923 million (USD$600 million) for the construction of the rare earths mine, which will support the company’s metals refinery in Korea.   The funding will go towards the construction phase of the Dubbo Project, showcasing the new opportunities between Australia and the US to achieve bilateral objectives.   #criticalminerals #rareearths #dubbo #regionalnsw #investmentopportunities #InvestRegionalNSW #ASM

Oriole Resources PLC continued its recent upward march as it restarted #exploration at the Mbe #gold project in Cameroon. Mbe is one of two of Oriole's projects in East Africa where gold producer BCM recently agreed to fund exploration in return for a sizeable equity stake. BCM can earn up to 50% for a US$1 million signature payment at Mbe plus U$4 million in exploration expenditure and resource-linked success payments. Through a similar deal, BCM can take a 50% stake in the Bibemi, another of Oriole's projects in Cameroon. #OrioleResources that sampling is now underway at Mbe to confirm its belief that a corridor of gold mineralisation runs across all of its licences in Cameroon. Boris Kamstra, COO, Premium Nickel Resources Ltd spoke at the Junior Indaba today. His theme was "Awakening the giants: redevelopment of the Selebi-Phikwe and Selkirk Ni-Cu-Co-PGE mines in Botswana". He said that part of a junior's job is to identify risks, mitigate them for stakeholders and deliver on time and in budget. He said, "Invest in Botswana - it is democratic, it has a stable legislation and there is great knowledge in country." These are the major risks for juniors he said - jurisdiction risk, exploration risk, the biggest risk is developing the mine (excecution risk), time and budget risk. He made a special note about the fact that "we are building more than a mine, this is personal, we are building hope and a prosperous future for the community, which was there when BCL closed its doors." Oriole Resources PLC is pleased to report that it has received two-year renewals for each of its five gold exploration licences in the Eastern Central Licence Package (‘Eastern CLP’), located in the Adamawa and North regions of Cameroon. The Licences, held through the Company’s 90%-owned subsidiary Oriole Cameroon SARL, represent a contiguous, district-scale land package covering 2,266km2 of geological terrane which is highly prospective for both gold and lithium. The Eastern CLP includes the flagship, 80%-owned Mbe licence, where BCM International Limited is currently funding up to US$4 million in exploration expenditure to earn up to a 50% interest. A 5500 metre trenching programme is underway over the MB01 area at Mbe, with results anticipated in Q3-2024 and a maiden drilling programme is anticipated in Q4-2024. Freeport Resources Appoints Key Advisors to Lead Yandera #Copper Project Optimization Study. A two-part Optimisation Study is being undertaken to maximise the project’s value, forming a critical component of an ongoing #strategicreview .   The Yandera Copper Project, an advanced-stage copper deposit in Papua New Guinea, has seen over US$200 million invested in exploration and development to date. This includes a 2017 Pre-Feasibility Study, which estimated a historical resource of 728 million tonnes of Measured and Indicated grading 0.39% copper equivalent*. The 2017 Pre-Feasibility Study, based on #copperprices of $3.35/lb, $10.00/lb molybdenum, and $1,400.00/oz gold*, laid a solid foundation, but this optimisation process will aim to update and refine these figures to reflect current market conditions and technological advancements. $FRI https://lnkd.in/dNdcEsF4

Dubbo is at the heart of the government’s plans to grow Australia’s critical minerals and rare earths industry in New South Wales. The ASM team was delighted to welcome Minister for Resources the Hon Madeleine King and Federal Member for Parkes, the Hon Mark Coulton MP to Dubbo, as the Federal Government announced a $5 million grant to support work critical to ASM’s funding activities and taking final investment decision on the Dubbo Project. The International Partnerships in Critical Minerals grant will enable ASM to conduct its Rare Earths Options Assessment - work that aims to identify lower capital and shorter implementation pathways to rare earth production at the Dubbo Project.
