According to the Wichita State University Kansas Industry Drivers magazine by the Center for Economic Development and Business Research, Southeast Kansas saw a 2.33% growth from 2021 to 2022. Rural Kansas also experienced a 2.02% growth, and Bourbon County showed positive growth at 1.3%.
