It's been such an exciting few months for recruitment at Mysa! We've filled some major positions with incredibly talented individuals that are going to help scale our growth. 🚀 Throughout the recruitment process for these senior level positions, we've had some great takeaways: 1. LinkedIn is a powerful tool for sourcing. It gives you a refined searching tool to have access to a large pool of passive candidates. 💻 2. Keep your mind open for future opportunties that great candidates can fill. Sometimes a five star candidate may not be the right fit for one position, but you know they would be such a great asset on your team. 🤔 3. Always tailor your recruitment efforts to best suit each position (ie: understanding the best return for paid posting outlets). ✅ 4. Dive into data analytics and understand how to interpret or adjust the process from the results (Kudos to Jeremy Grimes for this). 📊 5. Create a genuine connection from the start with all candidates. Recruitment is all about making sure the candidate is the best fit for your team - if you create a genuine, transparent relationship from the start, you'll organically begin to have a deeper understanding of culture fit, alongside technicality. 🤝 It's been a pleasure to be a part of the process of hiring these amazing new team members. The team loved having you on Whitney Johnson Cowell! I started the idea of bringing an "Internal Guest Speaker" on at the beginning of the year to kick off our Monday meetings with the objectives: To spice up our Monday meetings: Increase Product knowledge and learn how each department operates Increase confidence in working internally across departments/offices Most importantly, the ability to internally network. I always think about increasing production by increasing efficiency. One of the best ways to increase efficiency is getting your team internally networked and engaged with the rest of the company. The guests we have had on include; Sales reps that have found success, the President of KCH, the head of our Air import/export team, and a colleague in our solutions departments. One of the things that I love most about KCH Transportation has been brought to light within this idea -> The willingness and the support of colleagues from different departments/offices wanting to collaborate. #creative #efficiency #leadership #management

What another fantastic session with the team at Portwest in Killarney this week. I worked with the team on: 💰 Selling styles on the Shopfloor and how to connect, engage and build brand loyalty with shoppers. 🧍♀️🧍🧍♂️Identifing customer profiles on the Shopfloor and having a selling preference for that customer persona. 🛍️🛒 Lots of role plays on how to upsell and link sell with shoppers through meaningful conversations that engage and connect with customers. The heart ❤️ of Retail is felt by shoppers from NOT the products BUT each team members personality on the shopfloor.
