As we continue to see the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, our hearts are heavy for the loss of life and those whose lives are forever changed. We are incredibly grateful to all our faculty, teammates and students for their commitment to our patients, communities and each other. Since the weekend, we have partnered with the State of North Carolina on relief efforts and are taking in critically ill and injured patients from impacted hospitals on an ongoing basis. Many of these patients have been transported by our own AirCare teams. We know this will be a long process and we are committed to continuing to provide immediate and long-term support in coordination with federal, state and local partners.
