Rodgers Builders, Inc. continues to lay the foundation for world-class care while giving generously to programs at Atrium Health. For more than a decade, our construction partner has been a lead sponsor of the Keep Pounding 5K, supporting cancer care and research at Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Atrium Health Levine Children's. At last year's race, Rodgers Builders Executive Vice President Steve Phifer said it best, “Part of our mission statement is to Build Community with Care, and what better way to do that than build incredible facilities that nobody ever wants to go to, but you’re very happy they’re there when you need them.” This year, Rodgers Builders returns as the presenting sponsor of the race, and its team is ready to pound out cancer! Expect Miracles Foundation (EMF) rallies the financial services industry and beyond to invest in life-saving cancer research while advancing the financial and emotional health of people impacted by cancer. Unlike many nonprofits, Expect Miracles Foundation's work in the cancer community is two-fold: an investment in life-saving research, and an investment in financial support for those facing financial burden of cancer. The combination provides hope at every stage of the journey. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, 100% of all participant-raised dollars support EMF's portfolio of funds: Discovery Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Innovation Fund at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center SAMFund which provides financial assistance to young adult cancer survivors

So excited to be going the distance in the Expect Miracles Foundation - Financial Services Against Cancer on behalf of ICE! I will be part of the New York Team, running the distance to raise money for EMF's portfolio of funds listed below. I am participating in this fundraiser, not only for the countless people impacted by cancer globally, but for my dad, his father, his cousin (and his daughter, my second cousin), and both of my mom's parents, all of whom have dealt with various cancers. Please consider any contribution to me and Team NY’s fundraising efforts in the link below. Let's leave cancer behind!

Kesem is an exceptional resource for adults with cancer who have children. How do you tell your kids that you have cancer? What resources are available for kids impacted by a parent’s cancer diagnosis? This organization can answer those questions and more. #kesem #kidsmentalhealth #childrenimpactedbycancermonth
January is Children Impacted By A Parent's Cancer Month 💚 More than 5 million children across the United States - that's 1 in every 15 - are impacted by a parent's cancer, and we are proud to sponsor this special month of recognition to drive greater awareness and understanding of their unique needs. We hope you'll follow along and join us these next few weeks as we'll be sharing free educational resources, hosting virtual gatherings, in-person events, and more to expand our reach and impact in support of more of these children nationwide, in collaboration with special partners from coast to coast. Learn more and join us on the journey at kesem.org/january.

Lack of reliable transportation options adds to the financial burden of living with cancer. These challenges can have a significant impact on the well-being of patients already dealing with the physical and emotional toll of their illness. It's crucial that we work together to find solutions to address this issue and ensure that all patients have access to the care they need. #cancerawareness#hope andcope#transportationissues #patientcare
You don’t have to face a cancer diagnosis alone. 💛 The Canadian Cancer Society Travel Treatment Fund provides funding to help cancer patients in British Columbia who need to travel for treatment. The Wheels of Hope driving program connects people who need transportation for cancer-related appointments with volunteer drivers. One reason this is so important is this same foam giving firefighters cancer is used to put out fires caused by 1. smart meters (which are more prone to catch fire than regular meters, constitute an illegal search as a Pennsylvania judge has admitted, cause injury to those who have electrosensitivity (which is very real and supported by many peer-reviewed papers, healthcare providers (including Physicians for Safe Technology), pose a great risk to children's growing brains, home insurance won't pay for damage caused by the smart meters, and jobs have been taken away only to enrich the companies and if anything, people have reported their bills going up. They also hurt the environment, killing pollinators, and no pollinators = no food = no humans. https://lnkd.in/ehgEfAtY There is also a great deal of evidence that EMF "advances" are behind what many term "viruses" a la the Spanish Flu of 1918. In fact, there are peer-reviewed studies linking 5G and COVID-19. Having experienced toxicity illness myself and conducting much research, I can say that I'm sorry I doubted Dr. Cowan and Dr. Bailey and now am a firm believer in terrain theory and toxins and toxic chemicals causing disease. Mold itself can be linked to everything from cancer to colitis to Alzheimer's. 2. electrical vehicles - they also require use of this foam and when they catch on fire, it is not unusual for the fire to last for days and/or re-ignite after the fire is initially "put out"; they also cause injury to those who have electrosensitivity and cause same EMF problems as smart meters noted above; they put a strain on our already burdened grid; they will not work if there is an EMP - the only vehicle that has the possibility to work is from last century; slave labor, including children, are used to make the parts for EVs; the mining to the earth for parts to create EVs is harmful; it is absurd to ban gas cars when the average person can't afford an EV; they take a very long time to charge, making them inefficient; and end up costing a lot due to the electricity they need. That being said, I am wholeheartedly aware of the pollutants from gas. I was shocked the Environmental Working Group does not inform people that by-products of gas production, such as petroleum jelly and mineral oil, which is in many pharmaceutical and personal care products, is carcinogenic. However, when I did some digging and found out who REALLY funds the EWG - people such as George Soros, who has no remorse about stealing from his fellow Jews and their death and abuse in the Holocaust, it makes sense that such organizations act as if they are doing good when they are not. Kinda like Bill Gates "philanthropy" after former Attorney General Janet Reno tried to take him down and he wanted to better his reputation. The solution? I'm not a scientist, but conservation seems good to me. Let's plant (organic and not bioengineered) trees and not "cloud seed".
