Combined Screw Air Compressor A combined screw air compressor integrates components such as screw compressors, refrigerated dryers, precision filters, and air receivers into a single unit. Hence, it is also known as an integrated air compressor. It offers convenient installation, easy application, and portability. In the current scenario, compressed air has become the second-largest secure energy source after electricity, and it finds widespread applications across various industries. https://lnkd.in/geAH7qzf

The selection of the right accessories for the air compressor plant plays a vital and a very important role in reducing the energy of the compressed air system. The size and type of downstream filters, dryers and receivers if not carefully selected, will lead to excessive power consumption and hamper the production process.

It’s no secret that oil-flooded rotary screw air compressors need regular maintenance to function optimally. As a start, oil sampling can help you diagnose and prevent potential failures before they escalate. Other maintenance you should be doing regularly include: ✔️ Electric motor greasing ✔️ Condensate system checks ✔️ Regular air leak audits Curious to know more about how to save your facility from costly repairs and downtime and enhance your machine's efficiency and lifespan? Dive into Sullair’s blog post to explore more best practices for maintaining your oil-flooded rotary screw air compressor. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gE5bvYgT #AirCompressor #AirCompressors #CompressedAir

An air that chills. Into my heart an air that chills, from yond compressor blows, what are those hisses, squeals and shrieks, is it pipework, joints or hose? These be the sound of sweet lost air and bring financial pain, an air leak survey’s much in need, so they cannot come again. EDC Air Compressors can undertake an unobtrusive, ultra-sonic air leak detection survey on your site. We are also offering free air energy surveys, allowing you to find out how much your compressed air is costing you to produce (the answer may surprise you). With oil-flooded rotary screw air compressors, if the intake air is hot, this is a source of inefficiency due to the low density of this air. Most of the heat in the compressor room comes from the compressors themselves. This is in fact where most of the energy supplied to the motor goes, not into the final compressed air (I say "final" because the air and oil are in contact with each other inside the compressor) but into the oil. This heat is then rejected, either into the air in the compressor room or to water, and the cooled oil is directed back to the screws. In the case of air-cooled oil-flooded compressors, most of the compressor operators I come across know to duct this heat from the oil cooler to the outside of the compressor room. But you may still find the room to be quite warm even after doing this. This is because the ducting itself becomes quite hot due to the continuous flow of hot air it is removing from the room, and so the ducting itself can still radiate a fair amount of heat. It's therefore a good idea to insulate the ducting, removing this heat source. #sustainablecostreduction #virtualenergymanager VWG Consulting

Why use a low pressure Air Compressor or Blower? Under What circumstances should we consider to use? When we only need the pressure of 0.3~0.5MPa, if we use the ordinary 0.8MPa machine and decompression to 0.3 Mpa to use, it means we would pay a lot of electricity power cost. But with a permanent magnet low pressure and large displacement screw compressor, in the same condition, it will be more reliable and more energy saving than the ordinary air compressor. If you buy a 0.8MPa machine and the actual use pressure is 0.3MPa, its working process is usually like this: the screw air-end will compress air from 0.1MPa to 0.8MPa, and then through the pressure reducing valve ( Pressure Regulator ) or other ways to reduce the pressure to 0.3MPa. Finally! In conclusion! In short, we need to use 0.3MPa, but we actually suffer from the power consumption of 0.7MPa, which creates a huge waste of energy!
