See. I like this example, because when people see my postings they think to themselves, " Here is a guy who's trying to get people to quit their jobs, or trying to get us to stop what we love doing. He's trying to get us to try new things. He wants us to switch our services. Nope! On the contrary, we want you to stay There comes a time in your life when you just had enough of working for someone else. The time where you take back your time, for yourself. Time where job interviews after job interviews just seems to be the same. Time you want to create your own Work schedule. Take off Fridays and Mondays. Control your own pay scale. And more importantly, enjoy quality family time again, never missing an after school event, or friends outings . Or, may be you love what you do. You love your job keep working your job you so love, but now having a solid plan"B", Just incase your job doesn't love or respect you anymore. We want you to CONTINUE working where you work. CONTINUE owning that business you own. Matter of fact, if you love doing what you love doing, DON'T you ever stop doing it. Why would you stop doing that? That's crazy. Continue to do that. Now, this is what I am asking. What if there was a way, doing what you currently doing, you do NOT have to stop or quit doing what you LOVE doing, what if there was a way to put you in a better position in what you are CURRENTLY doing? No need to quit your job. No need to stop working the business you are currently doing. No need to buy stuff. No need to switch services. None of those things. Would you take a look at it? Would you take a hard look to see how it would benefit you, benefit your company, benefit your family, to see how it would benefit and add value to your other businesses? Get in touch with me, as soon as possible.

Want 3 ways to grow your industry contacts? ✨️ 1. Approach with a sense of curiosity. Ask questions about the person you’d like to connect with. ✨️ 2. Learn about what their career goals are. Ask them what their dreams are for the Industry, where they see things headed, and what they would like to change for the better? ✨️ 3. Follow up with specific details When you’re following up with new folks, remember not to solely pitch yourself. That’s what everyone else is doing. Reference something from your previous conversation. Incorporate what you learned about them. ✨️ Celebrate their wins. When something they’ve cast is doing well and receiving praise, reach out and offer your congrats! Especially if they’re in casting as their efforts are by and large overlooked. They’re a key part of the process of telling a story, and their wins are important! #workingactors #actorlifestyle #actorsofinstagram

The Importance of Simply Showing Up In a recent interview with the legendary Melba Moore, one powerful theme stood out: Ms. Moore’s success came from consistently showing up when opportunities presented themselves. Her story got me thinking deeply about the countless opportunities many of us miss simply because we don’t show up. How many chances have you passed on because you were in your own head? How many auditions have you skipped because you convinced yourself you weren’t qualified? How often have you underestimated the value you bring to a conversation, a room, or an organization? If we’re honest with ourselves, many of us can count far too many open doors we didn’t walk through—not because we lacked ability, but because we doubted ourselves. Listening to Ms. Moore made me reflect on the rooms I didn’t walk into or the interviews I didn’t ask for. Why? Because I’m not Oprah? That’s not who I’m supposed to be. I’m supposed to believe in Tray. Yet, I discounted my greatness because I didn’t have a degree or minimized my life experience—my PHD from the school of hard knocks. Here’s the truth: You don’t have to be perfect to step up. You can learn along the way. The most important part is simply showing up and giving yourself a chance to succeed. Fear is a part of the process, but fear doesn’t have to stop you. You just need to take that first step. So, I ask you: Are you showing up? Or are you sitting on the sidelines, waiting for permission, waiting for someone to validate you, waiting for a “hook-up”? It’s time to bet on yourself. You deserve the best, but it starts with believing in your value and showing up. Take that chance. Show up for yourself. You deserve to be in the room! Full interview coming soon on the New You Nation Network YouTube channel. https://lnkd.in/emeAHr_2 #ShowUp #BelieveInYourself #BetOnYou #OvercomeFear #MelbaMoore #SelfBelief #PersonalGrowth #SuccessMindset #TakeAction #Motivation #ConfidenceBoost #ProfessionalDevelopment #Fearless

What’s hard about deciding to leave the corporate world to work for yourself? It should be easy, right? Having a “meh” boss, working on projects you have to pretend to care about, watching leaders talk about values but not live them, operating on what someone else thinks the “right” schedule should be, micro aggressions from well-meaning people that accumulated, and caused me to doubt myself. Even non-toxic environments were soul-crushing to me. So why on EARTH are you taking so long to transition to a freedom-based career? 1. Ego death is hard. There’s a part of you still clinging to who you were; “a seasoned business leader with a stable career at a name-brand company”. Nevermind that layoffs were always on the horizon and the “name brands” are widely detested these days. This part of you hasn’t upgraded its software yet, and you keep believing it’s story. 2. You don’t know who you are *without* your old identity, yet. And as a hyper intellectual analyzer, you’ve busied yourself trying to de-risk something that you can’t possibly know until you create it. So there’s some temporary, false sense of progress the more you “think about what you’re going to do next.” 3. Your inner creative child has been on a shelf for decades. You’ve been taught to devalue her—after all, what use does YA fan fiction, watercolors, or amateur fantasy theater have when you need to support a family and achieve at the highest level? Actually, quite a lot. Without these creative streaks, you’re destined to blend into the mean; perfectly average. But it takes time to heal the shame of being weird and different. Laying it all out this way, it’s easy to see how these parts fit together. Heal the shame that’s keeping you from accessing your most creative, inventive aspects. Build up those muscles again. Conjure up a fantasy world where you don’t need to compromise on money or your values. Dare to believe all your existing gifts are worth A LOT, and test ways of sharing them. Create new data where you get positive feedback from carving your own path, rather than living someone else’s dream. I recommend not trying to hack this on your own; there are shortcuts and cheat codes for a lot of this process. And, where there aren’t any, you can bet you’ll need support. Getting your first paying client for LITERALLY ANYTHING is three months away, if you follow the process. But the process was never the hard part. CLASSIC QUESTIONS While recently cleaning out some old files, I came across a 3 x 5 index card that was 42 years old. It was tattered, yet still meaningful. It contained a list of what I called, “classic questions.” These were off-beat questions I might ask a guest on the radio talk show I hosted in Chicago on WFYR from 1982 to 1989 with talented “broadcast brothers” Steve Krafft, then Tim Jackson—and then on my own. Guests included: talk show host Oprah Winfrey, comedian Jerry Seinfeld, magician Penn Jillette, actor, comedian, director & screenwriter Albert Brooks and Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Marie Jenner, (born William Bruce Jenner). These questions can also be fun conversation-starters at client meetings, job interviews, family functions, networking events, etc. • Who are your heroes? • What was your first job? • What was the strangest job you ever had? • What was one of the happiest moments in your life? • Who has been the most influential person in your life? • If you could have lived at another time in history, when would it have been? • If you could have been another person in history, who would it have been and why? • What has brought you the greatest joy or happiness in the past year? • If you could only pack one suitcase with the things that matter most to you, what would you pack? • What do you want to be remembered for? • What would be the title of your autobiography? • In the future Academy Award-winning movie of your life—who plays you? • • • • • Have fun with the preceding. What questions would you add? #conversation #questions #CX #experience
