We've renewed our Boundiali South exploration licence in Côte d'Ivoire, which hosts the advanced high-grade Nyangboue gold deposit. The licence renewal, covering 167.36 km², allows continued exploration with Ministerial approval for drilling expected in the coming weeks. Previous drilling at Nyangboue has returned high-grade gold results, including 20m @ 10.45g/t gold and 30m @ 8.30g/t gold. We are increasing our drilling capacity to 10,000 meters per month, targeting 45,000 meters for 2024, with an initial Mineral Resource Estimate on track for late CY2024. A new centralised exploration camp is progressing on schedule, and is expected to be operational by end-October 2024, improving efficiency and reducing costs. This advanced tenement hosts the high-grade Nyangboue deposit (20m @ 10.45g/t Au from 38m:BRC0004S BIS) and we are just waiting on sign-off from the Minister for Forest and Water to begin step back diamond drilling to test for depth extensions of these high-grade shoots. We've reported further high-grade gold intercepts including 1m @ 163.42 g/t gold within 12m @14.56 g/t from step-back diamond hole at BD Target 1 as part of ongoing diamond drilling at our Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. The BD Target 1 is a 1.3km by 1km wide gold prospect within a 13km by 3km gold mineralised corridor. We will continue high tempo gold exploraton drilling with more than 30,000m of diamond drilling planned for this year, with a strong cash balance of approximately A$5M to support our aggressive exploration efforts. We are targeting an initial Mineral Resource Estimate for late CY2024. Managing Director Dr. Caigen Wang said: “We are very pleased to see this project best result for BD target 1 with DSDD0051 hitting 1m @ 163.42 g/t Au within an interval of 12.22m @ 14.56 g/t Au from 275m. This interval was 60m down dip from 4m @ 22.35 g/t Au (DSDD0004) and the system remains open as we systematically step out along strike and step back to test down dip. We will soon have four diamond drill rigs working at Boundiali as we increase our drilling rate to ~6,000m per month. We are in an incredibly target-rich environment as our geology team adds new targets to test at BD within the 13km by 3km gold corridor. We've received further shallow, wide gold intercepts, including 𝟵𝟬𝗺 @𝟭.𝟭𝟲 𝗴/𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱, from diamond holes at BD Target 1 as part of ongoing diamond drilling at our Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. We discovered visible gold in the core and we are identifying the best assaying method for it. The BD Target is a 1.3km by 1km gold prospect within a larger 13km by 3km gold mineralised corridor. Drilling is currently underway, with 30,000m of diamond drilling planned for this year, accelerated by the addition of a third drill rig to our fleet. Our aim is to continue aggressive exploration to establish an initial Mineral Resource Estimate by late 2024. More assay results from drilling at BD Target 1 and Target 2 are expected over the coming weeks. Managing Director Dr. Caigen Wang said: “Results from two step-back holes at BD Target 1 have confirmed the gold system is open and continues at depth. It is very encouraging to see these new wide gold intercepts underneath earlier results such as 73m @ 2.15g/t Au from 172m (DSDD0012). We have drilled ~60m down dip with these holes from the previous hits and these are the deepest holes (covering ~300m vertically) drilled on the project so far. We have noted visible gold in the drill core and have been investigating the suitability of using PhotonAssay with its larger 500g sample size and speed compared to a 50g fire assay. The larger sample size should be more suitable for gold mineralisation where coarse visible gold is present such as what we are seeing at Boundiali. This work continues to identify the optimum assay methodology for our gold mineralisation. We are well funded and supported by our shareholders and have increased our drill fleet to three diamond rigs on site this week lifting our drilling capacity to 4,000m a month. Cassiar Gold Corp. Results from these drill holes expand mineralization at the Taurus Deposit both within and beyond the current resource footprint (Figure 1). We've received exciting assay results from the first eight holes of our inaugural 31-hole diamond drilling campaign at the Boundiali BM tenement, which is part of our Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa.   The campaign covered 4,876.9m in an area with extensive artisanal workings, returning gold intercepts including 16m at 1.24 g/t Au and 7.39m at 1.94 g/t Au. Additional assay results from the BM tenement are pending, while drilling at the BD tenement is currently underway. Loncor Gold Inc (TSX: LN) (OTCQX:LONCF) (FSE:LO51) has estimated that the exploration target below the US$1,600 per ounce pit shell at the Adumbi projet in the DRC is in a range of between 8.9mln tonnes to 9.6mln tonnes of material grading between 4.7 grams per tonne #gold and 4.9 grams. "Between 2020 and November 2021 the relatively high-grade resource at Loncor's Adumbi deposit surged from 1.36mln ounces to 3.66mln ounces of gold, with 1.88mln ounces being converted from inferred into indicated at a conversion rate of 95%,” said Loncor's chief executive John Barker. “An assessment of the area below these resources suggests there's the potential to continue the significant growth given the outlined underground exploration target.” The recently agreed C$13.5mln sale of the non-core asset of Makapela provides Loncor with funding to further explore, drill and expand the flagship Adumbi deposit. Thor Explorations Ltd (TSX-V:THX, AIM:THX, OTC:THXPF) said drilling from the 2024 exploration programme at the Douta gold project in Senegal had intersected significant gold mineralisation east of the main Makosa deposit. Makosa East runs parallel to the main trend, with the priority from the drilling to extend the oxide component of the existing resource of 1.78 million oz indicated and inferred. The best results so far in the latest programme included 24 metres at 3.53 g/t gold from the surface and 9m at 2.74 g/t from a depth of 33m. Segun Lawson Thor’s chief executive commented the results were encouraging. "We look forward to completing the balance of the 15,000-metre drilling programme in the coming months over a number of prospects in the Douta and Douta West licences,” he added. Oriole Resources PLC said exploration has restarted at the Mbe gold project in Cameroon, where BCM recently agreed to an earn-in deal. Infill soil sampling has now commenced at MB-01 at a sample spacing of 100 metres x 25m before a planned trenching programme in this year's second quarter. Sampling (100m x 50m spacing) is also planned over the wider 12.5 km-long zone of soil anomalism at Mbe. Under the terms of the earn-in agreement with BCM, Oriole expects to receive the outstanding US$450,000 of US$ 1 million signature payments by the end of this month. BCM has agreed to fund US$4 million in exploration plus future resource-linked success-based payments in return for a 50% stake at Mbe.
