Promoting Workplace Safety and Employee Well-being in Brazil. The Internal Accident Prevention Week (SIPAT) was recently held at the Austin Powder plant in Dourado, Minas Gerais, Brazil. SIPAT is a very traditional and legally obligatory event in Brazil. It is a week of conferences on accident prevention, with topics focused on the safety and health of employees. The event is organized by the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) once a year, and its main objective is to raise awareness among employees about the importance of prevention and safe work. "In keeping with our core values at Austin Powder, SIPAT emphasizes safety, respect, and the unity of our family. This essential week highlights the importance of safety at work, the fight against moral harassment, the valorization of our team as a family, and our commitment to sustainability, thus strengthening our corporate culture," said Joao Cristofolini, Plant Manager, Austin Powder Brazil. Leonardo Lana, General Manager of Austin Powder Brazil, adds: "Implementing and experiencing Austin Powder's SHES policies in Brazil generates great satisfaction when experiencing each achievement. During SIPAT we can perceive, in the eyes of the employees, the satisfaction of feeling truly valued. The teachings and learnings provided by a week of intense activities focused on Safety and Health is a unique opportunity to grow and verify this constant evolution."
