In almost every device we use, there are two controls managing the output.
When we connect our phone to a speaker, there are two volume settings—one on the phone and one on the speaker. Or when water flows through a pipe, there’s the main tap and then our own hands to control the flow. Most of the time, we set the distant source to full, and adjust the final output with the closest controller at hand.
(Cost saving Tip)
Take LPG as an example. Many of us leave the gas regulator fully open and control the flame using just the stove knob. This habit leads to unnecessary consumption, making us use more gas and pay more, without even realizing it.
But even with this conditioning, we often set the bigger things in our life at a low setting. But keep the everyday things at full blast!
Where is this bigger knob located?
Are we using all our energy controlling only what’s right in front of us?
