Here are my ratings: A+ CeraVe by Michael Cera B Dunkin' DunKings B Verizon "break the internet" B Uber Eats "don't forget" B- BMW "Talkin' like Walken" C+ StateFarm Neighbaa C E*Trade picklebabies D Booking . com Tina Fey stunt doubles D Homes .com "do your homework" F Doordash promo code F Hellman Mayo Cat The CeraVe ad might just be the best SuperBowl ad of the 21st century. I'll admit that my B rating for the Dunkin' ad might just a little bit be influenced by the fact that I'm a Boston-area guy with a soft spot for Affleck, Damon, and Brady. The Walken spot was cute, but how it helps BMW is beyond my level of understanding. The Doordash and Hellman Mayo ad were just plain horrible. They seemed like ads written by third graders. No, wait--let me take that back. I didn't mean to insult 3rd graders. Overall: Amazing how much money was spent on mediocrity. Last point: Kudos to CBS for not cutting to #taylorswift too often. I still believe, however, that if Taylor had jumped up and down and cheered when the 49ers scored, the rest of her box would have jumped and down and cheered with her.
