💡How do you provide mobility at a one-day event with heavy pedestrian traffic and help the local community? ☕ Home Café Day is an annual community event where people turn their homes and gardens into makeshift cafeterias and restaurants offering a variety of delicious meals. 📢 Yesterday, 26th May, Auve Tech's autonomous vehicle MiCa carried visitors at Kakumäe Home Café Day between the restaurants. By integrating autonomous vehicles into community events, car traffic congestion can be relieved to encourage walking while still providing a transportation solution for extra accessibility, such as those with tiny legs. 🚌 Autonomous vehicles like MiCa are not just about advanced technology— they're about making our daily lives easier, safer, and more connected. #AuveTech #SmartMobility #AutonomousVehicles #FutureTransportation #Coffee

🚗 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐬 = 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬? 🌳 🌿 This is how the future could look! 🌿 Our cities are designed around cars, with roads, parking lots, and garages taking up valuable space. But imagine a world where autonomous vehicles replace the need for all that parking. 🌿 With self-driving taxis and robo-vans, we could reduce the number of cars on the road and reclaim that space for parks, green spaces, and recreational areas. 🌿 Will we make that shift? It’s a big change, but it could transform our cities for the better! #AI #AutonomousVehicles #SelfDrivingCars #SmartCities #GreenSpaces #FutureOfTransport #UrbanPlanning #Innovation #SustainableCities #TechForGood #NextGenTech #DigitalTransformation #FutureOfCities #RoboTaxis #UrbanInnovation #FutureOfMobility #CityTransformation #SmartTech #UrbanDevelopment #TechInnovation #FutureOfAI #AIInAction #SmartTransportation #Sustainability #TechForFuture #AIRevolution #EmergingTech #EcoFriendlyCities #AIForGood

What if an autonomous robot could park your customers’ cars for them? What would your customers and residents' arrival experience look like if they simply left their keys with an autonomous valet, linked to your digital permit system? Parkie, an autonomous parking robot by Korean technology company HL Mando recently won the Best of Innovation Award at #CES2024, which sparked some inspiration for what the future holds for the parking industry here at Gemini Parking Solutions. We envisage a future where advanced parking technology, such as self-parking robots, seamlessly integrates with digital permit systems to elevate the parking experience for businesses and customers alike. Read about the technology and our predictions for the future on our blog: https://lnkd.in/eb2V2wgE #ParkingIndustry #Transportation #Automation #Technology

No More “Robotaxi” – The Future is Shared Autonomous Mobility System (SAMS) The term robotaxi was born in the US, where car ownership is a given. But in many parts of the world, people are imagining a future with fewer cars—favoring public transportation, bicycles, and soft mobility. The name “robotaxi” expresses for many a high financial and environmental costs transportation system for happy few. This perception could hinder the adoption of shared autonomous mobility in these regions. If we continue using the term “robotaxi,” many parts of the world may hesitate to embrace new mobility solutions based on selfdriving technology and fall behind in the smart mobility revolution—a critical battle for the economy, the environment, and our quality of life. People often express fears about cheap robotaxis invading our cities, causing pollution, and worsening traffic. But that’s not the future of mobility we should be aiming for. Shared Autonomous Mobility Systems (SAMS) won’t compete with public transportation—they’ll complement it in an integrated system. SAMS will replace public transport only where it’s inefficient and enhance it where it’s needed most: offering secure, door-to-door rides at night or last-mile shuttles to help you catch your train on time for example. Just as the first cars resembled horse carriages where the horse had been replaced by an engine, robotaxis still look like the cars we own today—designed with outdated requirements. It’s time to imagine entirely new forms: SAMshuttles, SAMvans, SAMbuses, SAMcabs, SAMpods, SAMdrones, SAMtrucks even SAMoffices and SAMgyms each taylored in cost, efficiency and service with the best experience in mind. These systems will offer clean, affordable, useful and enjoyable mobility, freeing space, positively transforming our cities and daily lives. If AI had come before the internal combustion engine, no one would own a car. Let’s create a future with zero carbon, zero accidents, inclusive transportation that enhances our lives. It’s time to forget the word "robotaxi" and embrace SAMS—locally optimized, sustainable mobility for all. #SAMS #autonomousmobility #Selfdriving #zerocarbon

Very insightful SAMS (Shared Autonomous Mobility System) Vision by Guillaume Geroundeau. The key question is how the industry will transform itself, and timely, to adapt to this disruptive change. In an industry used to talk about Value Chain, I believe that it will need to focus on Value Network and identify where relevance for each stakeholder will be - competencies and skills will need to be integrated and not always embedded, for scale and competitiveness. Managing the transition will require boldness and significant cultural adjustments, particularly amongst well established and successful businesses. Fascinating times ahead.
